  1. Why our threads being closed because posters from other sites come on and talk smack, when we respond Redwing calls it a flamefest and the thread gets locked. Hmmm if I want to mess with someones thread if I'am a Goopher fan I just start S%$T and watch until the moderator closes it and sit back and laugh, maybe we need to start banning people who add nothing to these messages but just stir the pot. I guarantee if I went to GPL like State of Hockey,or Piper or others I would be banned after the first couple of responses. This is SiouxSports.Com not USCHO or Goopher puke live, last time I checked this was a forum for Sioux fans to talk about our teams not defend our views from smack talkers
  2. The more that the Gophers complain the better it gets. You can say obsessed but we can say ditto, how many Sioux fans post on GPL ? It still says Sioux Sports on the header doesn't it. To have one of maybe our biggest rivals get beat in our house with a great majority of Sioux fans watching probably the biggest NCAA hockey upset ever, thats not obsession its glory. The look on Woogers face trying to do the post game show, priceless.
  3. Is this a new game called how to keep Sioux fans in suspense
  4. I feel kinda dirty, not sure why though
  5. I agree with the TRIOUXPER as Toews and Oshie are the two best centers and why put all your eggs in one basket. Kozek with Toews and Duncan or Kozek with Oshie and yet to be determined. I think Kaip with Fabian and Zajac would be a good combo of offense and defense.
  6. Your reference to USCHO and all the posters here sounds like we have no right to express our opinion just wait for you to let us know what it is. Your the one who has problem with other views not me. If people want to disagree with things that our posted thats fine, give a different view but don't make it sound like they can't post here
  7. Maybe you should be the only one on here posting since it does say crosby87 sports.com on the title. I said it was my opinion not fact or that anyone else should think the same way. I like coming on here and hearing rumours some true some not some people don't like hearing bad news but some posters seem to get a charge out of players leaving, I told you so ,I posted this and so on. we all have opinions and our own ideas if you don't like or agree with then ignore them. GO SIOUX
  8. I'am not sure alcohol will mix well with your meds
  9. His other personalitie is Shhhhhh(Phil Kessel) that is why he posts everytime that K name is brought up because he is so modest he doesn't want any accolades or time in the spotlight
  10. You can put Smaby in there as well, three years I can handle it's the one or two that bother me. Who wants to be fair we should get what we want and thats it Like I said it's just my opinion and its doesn't mean much except to me anyway GO SIOUX
  11. Bacardio I understand the $ aspect and the dream but is some cases they wouldn't have the chance if someone didn't give them a chance to shine in a high profile program. We all know money drives everything but when people interview ex-players they all almost say college was the best years of thier lives and they should have stayed and not rushed into the cut throat life of Pro hockey. Once again mho and I could be wrong
  12. I know the goal is to play in the NHL but they should have some sense of loyality in mho. If you were hiring people for a business would you hire them and train them so they could move on?( Don't kid yourself college hockey is a business) I do see both sides of this battle but in "my" opinion there should be more loyality. it must be awful tough on the coaching staffs of all high profile programs to recruit for the future when you don't know how long players will stay, which ones become busts and which ones out perform expectations. This is a message board and all opinions our welcome, some more than others as long as people don't use the K word while the TRIOUXPER is lurking
  13. I will probably get flamed for this but this is my opinion. It seems like the players we are bringing in don't seem to have the loyality to the program like some others do, Are we just bringing in mercenaries(sp) or college hockey players? I know if I was offered big $ I would have to go but the money will be there after thier Jr or Sr years. It just seems if a program goes out on a limb the least you could do is give them 3 years of service for the chance they were given. I know with our program getting high profile recruits that is a pipe dream but in the off season man that's all I have. Imagine what the Sioux national titles would have looked like if Kevin Maxwell,Troy Murray,Ed Belfour,Tony Hrkac,Zach Praise,Travis Zajac,Ian Kidd,Brady Murray and others had played more than one or two years, I might have missed a few of the one or two year guys but you get the picture. End of my rant looking foward to 06-07 and whoever might be left. GO SIOUX
  14. I agree ATLpieceofcrapfanofnoteam BRINGS NOTHING to this board,SlapShot,Sagard,Wpos, buckyseive and fans of other teams don't bother me as long as the only reason is to stir the pot or convince Sioux fans that the Gophers, Badgers are the superior
  15. Not to rip the Gophers but maybe Chucko would have been better off here on smaller ice and not as much of a wide open game that the Gophers play. He was a very physical player for Salmon Arm it just didn't carry over to the college game. Probably not his style and that's maybe why Calgary signed him early.
  16. Who hijacked THETRIOUXPERS password
  17. Ok there goes melancholly right out the window
  18. Melancholly, the TRIOUXPER please. I agree with Sprig if the coaching staff feels like their ready to play that's good enough for me.(and everbody knows my record with this coaching staff )
  19. And one over on the Badgers site ATLbadger fan, once again don't go away mad just go away.
  20. If the coaching staff thinks he can play that's good enough for me
  21. A triple dog dare, oh my
  22. No I didn't, with Forneys leg injury he will probably be a 2007 recruit
  23. My picks for line next year Duncan-Toews-Porter Kozek-Oshie-Spirko Fabian-Kaip-Zajac Miller-Watkins-Vanvelde defensive pairings Lee-Chorney Bina-Jones Finley-Radke Drop the puck
  24. With the way College hockey is now repeats are tough threepeats might border on impossible.
  25. Agreed,Sparky is way too much fun too watch to have something like that keep him from coming back.
