Staffords cfb in Duluth,player not even close to the boards and sideways, Fabians in Denver, Cook turned at the last second. Three that should have been called and were not are Punkavitch"s 2 on Finley and Oshie and Danny boys on Prpich at the Ralph. If you perfer to wear your Maroon and golds glasses thats fine I prefer green and white maybe you need to go over to GPL, if you don't like the way the Sioux play. For someone you professes to be a long time fan you sure couldn't have enjoyed Gino's or Dean's teams for their rough play.Maybe in St. cloud when one of our guys was cfb and Blais sent Matt Henderson and Scott Kirton out he was doing a bad thing :silly:coach Seems like you hide behind the same thing as well

I would prefer a wide open skating game ending 7-5 but in reality thats not the way the game is played,geez they would have to give out alot of Lady Bing trophys is that was the case.The Sioux play an intimidating style and sometimes it boils over,yes we lead the League in cfb penalties but how many players would you label as dirty?How many cfb has Prpich had?

And Mr. Perfect how many of those were legit and how many were committed against the Sioux that weren't called,hmmm at least three from the last weekend. No way was Fabians a CFB,Finleys was borderline.Hockey is still a contact sport and if other teams turn there backs or try to avoid contact the refs have to be smarter than that.The WCHA leads all leagues in CFB maybe the other leagues have figured something out hmmmmm

Lets just agree to disagree fighting about whos got a bigger johnson would be about the same as whats going on around here.When the Parise vs Vanak was going on it was almost as bad,both great players,different styles just like the Sioux and the Gophers.Oshie would have done just fine in the Gophers camp and Kessel would have done fine in the Siouxs(after some defensive training ,just kidding) these fights will be going on as long as people root for different teams.In 87 it was Hrkac vs Millen good thing there was no message boards back then People need to lighten up on both sides, so what if someone on a different team win ROY. We have won it before and probably will win it again,just because you or you see players a different way your opinion is yours don't expect other people to agree all the time.

I don't think you can blame this on the ref,sure he sucked but we had plenty of chances with the 5 on 3 and others when it was tied at 3. It's all in the growing and lessons this team has gone through,Coach Hakstol said on the radio this morning that Smaby was battling the flu since thursday along with the alttitude it makes sense why he missed some shifts.The penalty on Lee which led to Denvers 4th goal was very weak,even the fsn annoucers thoght it was a horrible call and to there credit when Stasny was call to make it 5 on 3 there said it was legit.When will the best league in the country get better refs.If we all know Curious George is getting his players to turn into CFB why don't the officials?Lets sweep Tech and move on to the playoffs

I know I posted this earlier but doesn't it seem that we don't have many commitments for 2007 and up yet. The Badgers and the dirty Gophers seem to be racking the recruits up.This coaching staff seems to keep there cards pretty close to the vest compared to last staff as far as recruits go

diggin42 I have thought the same things,maybe Lee is thinking too much and not letting things come as natural as there were earlier in the year.

Looks like Haksto(according to the coaches show) has them thinking one game at a time which is the way the should approach it,treat every game like it could be your last.

I agree I wouldn't have any other d-man out there,he will be a great one. He is going through a rough period now though.

I think I know who he is talking about and he was awful all weekend.He hasn't been the same since the world juniors. Kinda reminds me of Gologoski(sp) and Hagemo from last year.

Someone on GPL was saying he had played with and has watched LaPoint and he has the ability to take a game over ,keeping my fingers crossed.It would be nice to have some recruits for 2007-2008.

Boy it can get your head spinning trying to figure all the possibilities and what if's.I believe your right in saying just win and hopefully the chips will fall in the right place.Thinking back some of those close games might be the nails in our coffin. Time to lace em up and get it done

Honestly the only teams I root against are the teams the Sioux are playing or now the ones who might help us in the NCAA regionals. Thanks for the input it helps put things in perspective.
