Wow, how aweful it must be to live miserable?

Ding ding ding, welcome to the same type of fight us on the otherside of this has had! Now you know how we feel, the Fighting Sioux lovers, the no nickname lovers, and the next best thing Nokak lovers go through everytime we make a change to a lesser of evil of what's left! But to deal with people like you and your buddies that want nothing but one name , RR! Then hear how everything else is so wrong! I just have to laugh at your complaint, its exactly what has been done to us in the last few weeks...

Well...after these last few posts I hope every can see just how serious to take anything you say/write about the nickname. All I can say is, I hope you are a college kid, or at least that age group, a kid that just hasnt quite grown up yet, which I can excuse because I was once young and stupid also. Good luck...

I ve really been excited thinking about the possibility of Nodaks being the new nickname. I just love the history I've learned the last week how UND used to be called Nodaks. It's great that a name with deep history could come back to help ease the pain of taking the best logo and name away from us! To think Nodaks is like a shortened version of North Dakota, just imagine all the logo possibilities, wow! Anything that represents ND could be the logo for Nodaks! Anyone that thinks otherwise just admit you just don't like the name and truly have blinders on because of it! It will be a proud moment when ESPN or such has a show about this someday and shows how a small town, and state stood strong to the big arm of the NC$$ and said you take away our proud name and logo, we want to stay as close to just ND as possible to honor our proud past! Just imagine the marketing possibilities with things like, don't mess with Nodak nation, we are strong, we are proud, we are NORTH DAKOTA! One thing I will do though if Nodaks does not win, is get behind my favorite teams called the RR's or the FH's and support them as if they were still called the Fighting Sioux! These are my personal thoughts, you don't have to agree with them, but I will not argue with you people that disagree as you hide behind your keyboard and talk smack!

Not that I have to explain my choice to you, and why are you even asking? I change on people to vote for also, I'm not so simple minded to hold for let say a party just because of a party! I have said from the start, no nickname is my preferred. Mafia swayed me to Fighting Hawks. The history of UND being Nodaks in the past written in the paper swayed but kept a battle for me between the FH and Nodaks. The flag really cemented it for me. The reason I fell away from RR is the whiney, 10 year old comments on here and the straight up treat anybody with a different view like your an asshat just made RR name absolutely stink to me!! Not without the endless scare tactics used by that crowd on why no other name can work! Happy? Just so you know, I am a stand up guy in this, if RR wins, i will still love and support my favorite hockey, bball, football teams from UND! Can't say the same for some in your crowd can you?

I doubt that would happen, but there is nothing that says there has to be a new logo. Got rid of the Sioux logo and changed the name, requirements would be done wouldnt they? The rules seem to change everytime RR is threatened not to win, on here. Not saying from you...
