I don't get where people say that Jones isn't a good defenseman, I think he plays smart with the puck and is mean and nasty infront of the net. I don't remember him making a lot of mistakes this season.

That is an awesome post. I would love to see what Jones can do in a fight.

LOL, I am not sure that is a negative. I think Finley has done a pretty good job, he isn't very old and will only get better.

I had some Bison fan yapping at me one time at Rose Creek in fargo because I had a Fighting Sioux logo golf bag. I just asked him how many Hockey titles has his team won, then excused myself and went and to the first tee.

I wish UND played like they did against the BADgers every game. Against UMN they did got out hit by the Gophers.

The stick swinging incident did it for me, there is no room for stick swinging in hockey, there is no way to justify that. That is why I wish college hockey would do away with the game DQ for fighting. Maybe crybaby/whiner might not fit but it was pretty bush league to start something by swinging your stick. I remember when everone was annointing Turris the ROY at the begining of the year it looks like Roe is going to run away with it.

In watching the games this past weekend I noticed that both Duncan and Trupp take a lot of extra cheap shots. Last weekend I noticed Ryan Duncan punch a UNH forward in the back of the head, I am not sure what lead up to this but I can only imagine. All season long I have watch the opposition tackle, hack and slash Trupp up and down the ice, only to watch him get back up and skate away.

That would be hard against a team that plays the trap. They shot the puck on net and it ends up right back out of the zone. UND gains the zone then cycles the puck. It will be interesting to see if the suspensions that C.C. suffered during the Christmas break will start to play a factor in C.C. fortunes during the second half of the season.

That is incredibly old to be playing in the WCHA. I tried goggling him but all I got was some lawyer from OKC.

I think Roe is a cry baby. Great player but cry baby. Kind of reminds me of Turris.

Lately I have read a lot of fans from other teams complaining about the Sioux being a bunch of hacks and doing a lot of after the Whistle stuff (ie) slashes, hacks and cross checks. I don't think UND has played that dirty this season. This past weekend I heard more complaining about UND after the SCSU series. I watched the game on Friday and have seen a lot of the games this year and I don't think UND is any worse than any other team.

DUNN for SCSU was on a roll until he met the Sioux I know MTU has two very good goalies and they play a defensive style play of Hockey so UND is going to have to be on their game to beat the MTU Huskies. More smash mouth hockey.

Poopski, is the intell good? Any clue on who the Sioux might be looking at for a second string or back up goalie?

Now we are clowding the issue with fact. I remember that series like a bad dream. Hopefully UND has long memories and can take back their arena. Last thing we need is another team calling the REA ______arena west.

No not all, I am not by nature a negative person. I am able to see the silver lining. Negative people are a drain. Also, I have a short attention span and I can't remember what I was being mad or negative about for very long. I just think even a win and a tie would be fine as well.. UND needs points.
