The Coaches show on 1-07-2009 Hak talks about some of the issues surround the expansion of the WCHA. Interesting issues facing the league. Hak actually brought up the dreaded pulling at large bids if the NCAA loses too many more teams. That would be bad for the NCAA.

There is a lot of people that will make the trip to open arena. It would be a big event. There are a lot of Sioux fans all over the place and BSU is 121 miles from Grand Forks.

I would be willing to bet higher. I would say COULD PUT in the area of 5000-7500 fans in the arena.

Does it have anything to do with the 7 second delay feature?

I was at that game and they filled the arena to the gills, you couldn't hardly breath in there.

That is the same thing that I have been told. In fact I heard it was wishful thinking on the gophers to think they would be the team to help open the new arena.

If you believe the logic that the Gophers are for something happening in the WCHA there is a good chance of it happening. Don Lucia was the one that said they should vote to lift the Ban on expansion.

I think that is the talk since UND has scheduled BSU almost every year since they went division one. I have talked to a few people that are close to BSU Hockey and that seems to be the prevailing logic. Either that or UMD or SCSU. I have heard someone suggest that Minnesota be the team to open the arena but there are a lot of people that have said no way you won't come to the glas except once you're not going to be the team to open the new arena.

I want to know where team ND and Hoven were.

I think the Green Mill in Bemidji is one of the nicest that I have ever seen. The view is unbelievable.

I am have been on line a lot duh, and I can't get over how everyone is always slambing the Sioux this season the Sioux are one of the cleanest teams I have ever seen hit the ice in a long time up here and yet you would think they are a bunch of knuckle dragging blood thirsty Derick Boogaards. I don't know why Jess Meyers has it in for UND? I think being a graduate from UMD might have something to do with it. Of all the hockey publications I think they lack the most credibility. I like the College Hockey news. The PWR/RPI is very Schizophrenic up until the last game of the last conference tourney. One thing the guys from INCH said was its something you take a look at then immediately look away and leave it be.
