They do play the Sioux tough but if you look at the actual numbers between the two teams MSU-M hasn't beaten UND very many times.

I wonder if a few of the EZAC teams might fall short.

For the Thanksgiving tourney OSU, Miami, UND and BSU.

We have Merrimack (X2), OSU (1X), Miami (1X) (thanksgiving Tourney) at Cornell (x2) I would assume BSU (X2). There has got to be another 2 games out of conference. There must be a trip to Boston or is Harvard coming to REA?

I think it is time to load up half your schedule on cup cakes. Like the NCAA Division football does and pad stats.

I think the big problem right now is that EZAC teams are over represented in the RPI/PWR this year. However, I think a lot of this has to do with their top teams beating up on cup cakes and not playing many out of conference games. Yale, Cornell and Princeton are not as good as they are ranked right now. Think of this scenario, UND makes it to MPLS as a 3 - 4 seed and has to play Cornell. I can imagine we will hear a lot of complaining by the Cornell Coach Scaffer.

If RHT doesn't let the his Standing Rock Tribe vote the concensus in Spirit Lake means nothing. I don't see him changing his mind. I think UND could have done some outreach a long time ago.' I think it is a little too late now.

IIRC it was pure power and MSU-M losing to the UNO Mavericks twice kept them out of the tourney. I also heard that ND was the last team in the tourney. In fact UW staying home and not going to the Final Five helped them make the NCAA tourney. I maybe wrong but it wasn't political. It was pure PWR/RPI numbers.

When Patterson was here I thought his flashy glove was a little over the top. He was waving it around like he was an all American. I don't think it matters who the Goofs play in net. Their defense is poor.

If UMN isn't ahead of UND and UMD in the PWR they don't get in. That's the way it goes.

You're a lot more kind than I am. I compared their defenders to road cones or pylons. Also, it is funny to hear the Gophers fans calling for their back up untested goalie Patterson. I wasn't impressed with him when he played in Grand Forks, I would love watching him get lit up for a lot of goals as well.
