I agree with you. Since Finley has been at UND there is a small group of people that what ever this kid does it isn't good enough for them. I mean honestly you would think big Joe was a horrible hockey player, a rotten person and complete utter hack. There just seems to be a lot of haters out there. I would love to arrange a meeting where big Joe can meet up with all these brave anonymous people that have taken issue with Joe in the past and see if we can't we can

This makes me very happy and I am sure that we will hear fans all around the league unhappy with the Sioux. Comments like, "how dare they recruit and play hockey players like that." It will also be fun watching him destroy Gopher players that come infront of the Sioux net.

Not to inflat Finley tires too much but since UND has him back they are tied with Wisconsin for least goals against in league play. I remember some being concerned about UND defense and goaltending at the beginning of the season. Doesn't look like an issue now and I think Finley return settled every thing down.

Just for the record Finley had 11 fights in the 2004-2005 season in the USHL. I don't think I would say that Big Joe is a turtle or that he would duck a fight. If the guy won't fight he can't pull a Todd Bertuzzi on Buress.

I think I agree as well. It makes my skin crawl to think about cheering for the Gophers. I cheered for Maine when they played the Gophers in the NCAA tourney.

I am talking about the CFB on Lucia in the MSU-M series where he was injuried, he recieved a concussion. I am saying there is a pattern he is a very dirty cheap player. I talked a few Mavericks fans that thought the same thing. Yes he did Finley bascially in so many words said Buress would come looking for Buress. I listened to it in my car after the game.

I am going to respectfully disagree with you Bruess is is a cheap thug and will pay for his misdeeds eventually. While I can't stand Tony Lucia, Buress cheap from behind hit on his was bush league, the attempted leg check on Chay Genoway was also classless. Finley basically said that he will come to collect some day. if you take in the whole picture over the years Buress punching Rylan Kaip while Kaip took them I just re-watched the hit and I think it might be border line slough foot. I dunno.

I am sadden with the loss of Derrick LaPoint, he will be missed. Get well soon Goonster.
