If you look at the NCAA there is no award for the best start, tell that to all of the world beaters at the beginning of the seaosn that are now starting to tumble like prom dresses at an after prom party. It's a bad Cliche I know. I could used something else. It has worked for Hak so far. Each year his teams have gotten better in the second half. I am just happy to see UND in the running for a WCHA regular season title. Also, this is the first season where Hakstol has all of his recruits. I dunno. I like the way things are starting to develop in Hakstol's system and after four seasons we are beginning to see the type of team that he is recruiting and building. This years addition is balanced through all four forward lines and they are the fastest team that I have seen this season. Granted I didn't see the BU game.

The play of the Mavericks is irrelevant to Schack the hack's response, I don't think we want to excuse his response it was the wrong response. Did you see anyone pull Buress out and start beating him with their gloves and helmet on? That was not per the code. That was chicken $H!T and gutless. That was like Todd Bertuzzi on Steve Moore. Notice UND didn't do that? Last weekend the Gophers has a walk on player at the end of the game running the Sea-wolves goalie and at least this hack was maning up face to face.

All I know is the Wild Player Curtis Foster that was hurt last March with broken Fibula and he is just coming back now for the WIld and is playing in the NHL. It took a long time for that injury to heal, I can't even imagine how Bad Derrick is.

I would hate to see Chay go after the play he made last night for the game winning goal where Chay he led the play all the way up the ice, some scout is probably drueling right now over the prospects of signing him. heck who says he couldn't be a forward in the next level with his offensive skills?

I am sorry but Jutting's team deserved all the penalties they got this weekend. Like I said in a previous post this is one of the dirtiest teams I have seen in a long time. Jutting has a rep for abusing officials and whining.

Actually, I guess Jutting and the Ref (I don't remember which one) got into it after the first period of Friday's game so it didn't worked for Jutts all that well.

I don't know if I want to get started on the officiating again. Actually the refs weren't too bad this weekend but I think they missed a few CFB's. I told the guys that I sit with that the Mavericks are by far the dirtiest team I have seen come to REA in some time. They make DU look like a bunch of Choir boys.

Far be it from me to stick up for Kangas or a Gophers player, however, I would put the blame on the road cones/pylons in the Gophers defense corps. If your defense fails to do it's job eventually it comes back to bite them. I think Patterson would get shelled just as bad as Kangas against MSU-M, UND and Wisconsin. Everyone loves the Back up goalie until he goes in and proves the fans wrong. I would be willing to bet you that if Patterson was in net against the Sioux he still gives up a bunch of goals as well.

You should have asked Shepherd if he was going to suspend Irwin for his federal/slap shot move at the end of the game.

I would be willing to bet that call gets 3-5 games in the NHL. That kid is a gutless hack.

I agree with you. Since Finley has been at UND there is a small group of people that what ever this kid does it isn't good enough for them. I mean honestly you would think big Joe was a horrible hockey player, a rotten person and complete utter hack. There just seems to be a lot of haters out there. I would love to arrange a meeting where big Joe can meet up with all these brave anonymous people that have taken issue with Joe in the past and see if we can't we can
