I don't get it, I thought the kid was a pylon this past season and he didn't look good for team USA at the WJC either. This just proves my argument that the best kids in USA hockey aren't playing for the WJC team.

Funny yet some scoff at the idea of UAH being in the CCHA but they are on better footing than some of the same CCHA teams that are struggling.

If I am not mistaken Oshie was the player working out with Wheeler in the off season but I could be wrong. Yeah most of these kids know each other.

Once they became Boston Bruins they were no longer vile and disgusting. I thought I read somewhere that one of our former Sioux were actually working out with Blake Wheeler.

The Moral to the story is stay in school unless you are a first round draft choice. Or at least that is what I have taken from some of these guys that have left school early. Thank God for the new CBA IMHO.

I don't know if they would compete with UND for talent because I can't remember the last time we got a player from the BCHL. Wasn't Kozek, Duncan and Watkins the last ones from UND to play in the BCHL?

I think UBC was in the WCHA they might compete for talent with the Vancover Giants of the WHL maybe a kid would decide they might want to go to school in play in college as opposed to playing in the WHL. While I can't think it would be a lot they could pick off a few the UBC thunderbirds play in a very nice arena that is going to be used for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Bruno was on with Kevin Gorg yesterday on KFAN and they were basically talking about how no one really go to see the Carolina and New Jersey in game 7. Wow, what a finish. There was really no reason they could have had those two games on seperate nights or at different times so they could both be seen. I know hockey is a niche sport but I think maybe they need to figure out how to market the game better. Also, on your side of the country some places are reporting that the NHL is now running the Yotes. Whether that is true it yet to be seen.

Actually I am kind of partial to Marc Savard, Zedno Chara and Milan Lucic.
