Karr is a buffoon and he obviously is out of touch because he obviously hasn't watched a Western-Clutch and Hold Association games lately. If anything this rule would tighten the game up and you would have hooking and holding up and down the ice. Me thinks this rule is going to be dead on arrival.

I don't now if it would reach the threshold of a two or three game suspension.

I haven't seen a lot of hockey where anyone uses that hybrid rule. I don't see a lot of people unhappy with that particular rule, it could probably be helpful with waving off some of the icing attempts. Frankly its the rule that doesn't allow the penalized to ice the puck on the power play that has everyone upset including most of the coaches.

I posted the emails to the morons that are responsible for these stupid rules.

I would love to see big buff smoke that hack. The skilled players for the Blackhawks better keep their heads up, the Flyers captain's MO is to catch players with their head down like he did a couple of other players this season. This could be a rough series.

I think the biggest problem is our league games while the WCHA is the best league and tough from top to bottom, the regular season is grind and can be taxing on a team. By the time the WCHA has played out its season they have beat the hell out of each other and teams run out of gas. I still believe the way the refs call the game has an effect on the teams as well. The CCHA, Hockey East EZAC call their games tighter than the WCHA and they have more separation from the top and bottom teams. The WCHA not so much. I think McLeod
