I caught that too. I don't know what to make of this story. Yes, he did some really bad things as kid, and that doesn't excuse this. I am not sure that he will be able to move on from this. I think that he's going to have to apologize and look sincere and contrite and to date, he hasn't done that. This Twitter thread covers these things. I tweeted last night; I don't recognize many names on the Mavericks at all, except for a couple. Their goalie isn't very good, he was popping out juicy rebounds. I thought UND played well last night.

This is a pretty good podcast. I think you find that the players are reading the things people post about them online on Sioux Sports and Twitter. You can hear it about the 40 minutes mark IRC.

I don't know if that is a bad thing, especially if he plays with someone that likes to pinch a lot.

First, none of us are in the UND locker room; maybe, just maybe, said player wasn't a good fit for the program? Maybe he wasn't a good teammate. Maybe there were other issues that came up. It's easy to sit and speculate from the sidelines. We all do it. The coaching staff has already stated this fall that the team is loaded with talent and there are going to be tough lineup decisions to make. I am glad I am not making these decisions. What you did last week, isn't always a guarantee to playing next week, especially if you have a bad week in practice. I do know the team is working hard. Yesterday, when I went to the press conference, there were still players out on the ice practicing after the official practice was over.
