Does anyone find it funny that two of Dave Koski’s favorite hockey players are have been ranked by their fellow players as two of hockey’s all-time dirtiest players in the NHL. They’re also two of the biggest turtles of all-time. Meaning, they skated up and down the ice taking liberties and cheap shots on their fellow opponents and when they were called out, they turtled. That’s a historical fact. But, I am delusional. I have history to back me up. Even the GM of the Senators thought that Cooke sliced his prized defenseman Erik Karlsson on purpose.

Really Koski, you seem to lack a basic knowledge of hockey as well. Anyone who defends Cookes’ bushleague and thuggish tactics as context of the game, but says that fighting is worse than his dirty hits, is delusional.

I write for the Hockey Wilderness, it's going to be hard, I can't stand Cooke, I will never make any excuses for that guy... I despise him. I don't care if he's changed his game, he's a dirty players based on his body of work, over the years, his antics are inexcusable. do we just forget all of his bush league play over the years?

I literally threw up in my mouth when the Wild signed this P.O.S. I can’t believe of all people the Wild signed this clown.

One thing no one has touched on here is, Europe is an amazing place to work. I spent 26 months in Germany. Those were some of the best days of my life. Maybe some just want a chance to work in Europe and travel with their family, once your there you can move around pretty easily and for little money as most know, a trip by air to Europe is very expensive. I have heard people say that playing hockey in Europe is a fun experience.
