The small schools are whining because no one will travel to play them in their barns. Also, Seth Appert the RPI Hockey coach was whining about this on twitter after Yale won the Regional back in March. Earlier this summer, there was an article on USCHO that made the claim that the AHA schools think that their record would be better if the biggers schools traveled to their barns and played them. Here's the article that I was talking about.

Their starting goalie is a monster... Jon Gilies is 6'5" and weighs 215 pounds.

OSU has had a hockey team for how long, never did anything, and now all of a sudden, they're going to rise from the ashes and have a huge following... History doesn't back up that statement. Now, if it's football, OSU is good with winning and scandals.

We're going to need to see a link, because you just pulled those stats out of your ass. I would say 1/2 - 3/4 of the UND fan base no longer lives in the state of ND. So, what you just said there is fluff or filler.

You brought up SCSU, who's a very small school. You’ve got nothing.

Miami would sell more seats if their arena was bigger as well.
