I'll say it, base on the standard that Hakstol was held to. Sandy wouldn't made it long at UND. And yes, the Ralph would've been burnt to the ground. Losing seasons start the clock. Two or three losing seasons in a row would be a disaster here.
I believe that Timm "Quick Whistle" Walsh has no business reffing hockey games. Let the WCHA have him. Thank God the NCHC didn't hire Marco Hunt. If we went back and reviewed the penalties that were called this past weekend, 85% of them were called by Walsh. He's brutal. In one play he was jawing with a UND player after what I would call a very weak penalty. Walsh would be better off making the call and then moving on. He's just about as bad as Todd Anderson, who has actually improved since joining the NCHC.
Maybe I was thinking out loud and I understand it. I just find it odd that's how it's shaken out that way. UND is 6-0 at Lawson during the three NCHC seasons.
UND is 6-0-0 at Lawson and 1-1 at the Ralph against the WMU Broncos. I am not sure why UND has played three series at WMU and only one at the Ralph?
Video of the goals from tonight's game. Enjoy....
I told my dad once that Doug McLeod is a terrible play-by-play announcer. Apparently, he was the North Star play-by-play guy as well. The Stars have been gone a long time, and I don't remember him.
Just for the record, the webcast were a hell of a lot better this year, than past years. The webcast only tiled a few times. And that could be my wireless network.
Ha, what? I'm battling a cold and I am not drinking anything, but Diet Coke, water and coffee. I haven't drank much in 2016.
So, no. I am not taken drunk. Whatever that means.
