Come on, first off you can't run an effective practice with 4 goalies. Last year is last year and the goaltending has to improve. To say that Ranny is better than the other two is mere speculation, they were recruited for a reason. It will be interesting to see what happened next season.

Some of the stuff Happy writes reminds me of some of the Gopher fans I had met at the final five back when UND was the dominate team, and the Gophers were the chumps. These clueless fans used the same tired logic that Happy is still using today, the 25 year old Canadians, and that made us cheaters and that some how our NCAA title in 1997 didn't count because we didn't play Michigan. No boby ever mentioned that UND still has more Mcnaughten cups than the Gophers. Funny thing is Happy and guys like Yellow Turd are still spewing this stuff/crap. I think this is the year that the Sioux take back their arena from the Dirty Gophers (I am so tired of hearing it call Marryucci West) and I also believe that UND will go far in the NCAA tourney.

I think teams got tired of losing in the third period, and focused more on conditioning. I think you will see that UND will still be a great third period team, beat the oppostion into submission.

They are also missing a lot of offense on their team with two of their stars holding out. Its time to pay Gabby what he wants.

Next thing we are going to hear is MORONS like Happy talking about UND goalies floating in the Red River.

So I guess I would assume that one of the kids from this year class will get red shirted right? It seems practicle. I suppose Marc will be the odd man out.

Here is the problem some moron from the name change crowd will write one of their stupid op-eds about the mascot and then there will be an uproar and then the Mascot will be gone just like Thunder the Bleacher Creature. I incidently liked Thunder but I am not sure how someone could have made the stretch that it was insensitive and racist and all the other crap that some wrote about it...

You know Speez that is perfect, classic. I look at the logo with Pride and know what it stands for. Some of these people just don't get it. The Fighting Sioux logo is a symbol of strenght, dominance, winning tradition and determination, but also the logo represents/honors one of the toughest native American tribes/nations to walk the face of the earth...

St. Thomas unless they are talking about the Virgin Islands is right down from the Campus of the University of Minnesota. This site has no credibility, it is nothjing more than a tabloid. Their rediculous articles are the proof in the pudding. I am sorry but you can not say that Dean Blais isnt' as good of a coach as Don Lucia, last time I check Blaiser was an assistant on Gino's three teams that won NCAA titles. I also heard he did a lot of the recruiting. Also, Dean has accomplished more than Jerry York or Mike Schaffer from Cornell, and last time I checked Sauer coached longer and still only won 2 NCAA titles. Lastly, I could care less about the Blow daugs. They have a goaltender and a few nice forwards.

Every week Doren Yellow bird writes one of her touchey feely articles on the Opinion page for the Sunday Heraldo and she always asks the person (always ussually an anti-name person + altrua liberal) what they feel about the name.

Hum, I thought I missed something when I got my tickets the other day. Lol, that is funny, they don't even know UND is in Grand Forks unless they are maligning the name.

I am not sure if anyone thinks this but I think UND's team is loaded offensively. Also, two years ago UND had a 13-14 member freshman class about 10 of them still remain. UND now has 8 freshmen on this years roster.

I personally don't give INCH a lot of respect and I don't think it has a lot of credibility, esecially after that article it did on UND's goaltending situation, that was a hack job. Its a tabloid. Isn't it a site that is run by a B.C. or Gopher fan? That is almost as bad as being a SCCC fan...

Plain and simple the newspaper story makes them look like they are a bunch of Dumb A$$es. There was no excuse for that head line.

The Gophers are not going to win the NCAA championship. Trust me. I am not saying UND is going to win it, they have a good chance but, UofM is not going to slip under the radar screen this season. Not with their goaltending. I will eat crow at the end of the year if I am wrong but its not going to happen, I am that confident...

Your right Phoenix, I don't mind the smack talk but the UMD fans are beligerant. They haven't proved nothing other than they have great goaltending. That is all they proved last season. Honestly, no offense to Mr Noterman but, I doubt Ranfranz will be on the opening day roster. But who knows maybe he will, from what I hear he is a great kid but I thought he might have played himself out of job after he blew it against Mankato last season... I wouldn't be surprised to see Jake sitting on the bench with a clipboard the next two season if he doesn't play more consistently. I know Lammy coming in next season is supposed to be the real deal as well as both of our freshmen goalies seem to have great credentials. I wounder if Bliaser will consider red shirting one of these two kids...

That is a great idea, could fire up the crowd, maybe a picture of a B.C. player crying too, that would really top it all off. Whoops maybe not...
