The Radar doesn't paint a very good picture. Yesh, it must be winter. Anyone know who much snow the got out west? I am thinking with all the snow we are getting this winter Ducktober is going to be really good this season.

I am kind of wondering the same thing I have to drive to Fargo tomorrow for work. So I am hoping the wind stops and the road is clear tomorrow. I went out and snow blow my drive way and I am not sure I would qualify this as a blizzard but its a pretty good snow storm. We must have gotten 3-4 inches of snow. I think the wind speed has to be over 30 miles an hour to be classified as a Blizzard but I wouldn't tell anyone to drive in this crap. Stay home and be safe.

That call could have gone either way really, we have seen this happen in the past. Who cares its over. UND still took three out of four games from Minnesota this season.

The refs will do everything in their power to make it happen. Face facts its true... You just can't see it through your maroon colored glasses. yep your right UofM is a 3rd-5th place team. I think its funny that I have seen UofM say that UofM outplayed UND most of the four games. However only won one game was won by UofM.

WCHA officials go for the split, mission accomplished. Look at the way the second game was called. Call off the goal, it should have counted and the disparity in penatly minutes. UND should have gotten a few breaks from the officials too. Again you proved my point the reason the Final Five is sold out is many expect UofM and UofW to be there. Now the officals will start calling the games in favor of these two schools. Again lets see it it keeps shaking out that way. Look at it from this perspective see what happens if either school (UoW or UofM) doesn't make it... Attendance will be down.

Theres a shock: a ref in the WCHA not watching/seeing the play. I am convinced that Shepard was refing the game to get the split. I beg for someone to prove me other wise. Call me a conspiracy theorist, Fine. Last night I told a buddy that was watching the game with me. I explained how the league office wants to see/make sure that Wisconsin and UofM in the Final Five. Its all about money. So UND is not going to get the breaks when it comes to playing UofM and UW... Hence the goal being waved off that should have counted no doubt...

Time for UND to not dwell on the loss and get ready for DU this weekend.

I agree too, and you know what? I predict the sun is still going to come up tomorrow here in Grand Forks. Good series to watch and UND takes 3 of 4 from the Gophers... For this I am happy.

Your right I predicted a split for this weekend and that is what happened. UND too 3 of 4 games from the Gophers this season and this is only our 3 loss. UND has the least amount of losses in the WCHA this season and has only lost 6 points all season. Look at the silver lining folks its not the end of the world. We got decent goaltending all weekend and I think UND limited Vanek to 2 points over 4 games not too if you ask me. Now I hope UND moves on and continues with the fine season. I predict they will. UND lost 10 games in 1997 so I think we are doing quite a bit better this season.

It all boils down to UND took 3/4 games from the Goofer this season. Sure we lost for the third time this season. Coach will probably have his teams full attention this week in practice and we should look forward to a sweep at home. Can't win them all, but I sick and tired of pi$$ poor officiating...

That makes sense... You wouldn't want UND not having to kill a 5-3 penalty... How many games in a row does that make. It seems like UND has to kill one off every game...

If I am not mistake Brian got a checking from behind penalty and a unsportsmanlike conduct penatly when he boarded the UofM player.

Talking about pipes and missed opportunites, Bucks missed about three other shots that could have been goals. The score could have been worse... I am just wondering if UND wins tonight are we going to see a melt down by the Gopher fans?

Pat's right If you get hit in the stomach with a spear your ussually going to fall down. There is no excuse for that blatant spear not being called Sioux fans its time to email the league office again, I say we flood their email system with valid emails bringing to their attention of the horrible officating. If you listen to Matt's comments on KFAN he said a few other classic stuff. However, our defensemen have our team ranked number one in Defense in the leauge. By the way in case anyone is keeping track UND is 6-0-1 on the road this season. I wonder if we need to email Wooger and let him know that... I wonder if he is going to say we have a questionable road schedule too... Just another round of stats for some: UND is the top offense in the country with 5.0 goals per game and UND is 7th in Defense with 2.27. Third in the Nation in penalty killing. Incidently 2nd in the league in PK and third on the PP in the WCHA. That is a pretty solid team for having some big slow defensemen.

I thought we actually won a few more face offs in the final period. But your right we sucked the rest of the game. Mike P won a big face off and that was crucial in the third period especially with the Gophers trying to get back into the game...

I would say for a guy that some think is a hack and can't skate he is sure doing a good job leading the nation in goals...
