Oh I feel so bad for Michigan (not) for them not being able to have all of the Regional tourneys at Yost ice arena. I wonder how we get UofM to not keep getting the regional all of the time, like it wasn't a major advantage in 2002...

I think your preaching to the choir here because most of us know that FSN is highly biased and has trouble seeing the perspective of anything but the maroon and gold. I think Masucko is one of the biggest clowns doing college hockey today. Woog I can forgive beause he was the coach of the Goofers and also a former player. I think that is why many of us watch the goofers play just to watch them lose and that there is no other hockey on right now as a result of the lock out. I know I personally take great pride in watching the Goofer loose in hockey. I enjoyed last weekend's series, however, the tigers play caugh my eye and think the Sioux are going into a hornets nest this weekend.

Actually I think Schneider played good last weekend as well as Jones and Prpich. If I remember right Greene didn't spend a lot of time in the box either as a result of stupid penalties. I don't understand where Fylling has been all season though. Quinn seems to have been relegated to 4th line duty.

I believe it would do the Sioux some good in the rankings. Can't hurt.

I do like our chances if we have to play UMD in our barn. I think we match up well against them in a three game series.

Ok, I'll bite. The Sioux come out flat against an inferior opponent. The Sioxu play with no emotion all weekend. MSU-M has like three players I would consider good enough to play on the Sioux and UND gets out played. I don't know about you but, I am not seeing a lot of drive and determination. Except for Murray, Zajac, Genoway and Prpich, I didn't see a lot of effort on the ice this weekend. Someone mentioned Stafford making great plays on the ice during the WJC. Where was that player this weekend. Granted he might be dragging but these guys appeared to have bagged the season or there is something going one in the locker room. Where is the leadership? That being said they should get in as an at large bid to the NCAA tourney if they don't fall completely flat on their face the next couple of weeks.

Oh I don't know, I don't think College hockey is all that strong this year, any team can win on any day. Wisconsin lost to Ferris State, and if you look around college hockey this season there have been quite a few upsets, DU losing to MTU comes to mind. UAA has laid a few loses on people themselves, including the mighty Gophers.

I predict we get our @$$es kicked this weekend. I see no way how we can beat C.C. this weekend or any weekend or anyone above .500. I think UND has bagged the season and it appears they have issues in the lockerroom.

Fyling and Canady are seniors and will play out the string for the year. I am not sure what Quin's problem this year is but he is a fourth line player with his talent, he must have a bad attitude or something. I think Fabian should have his bags packed for him to make room for another player. The major crux of the problem is attitude and desire, and itts not there. I am not a hockey genius but it apparent the Sioux have bagged the season already. I can't imagine how bad it will be next weekend when we get swept by C.C. and lose each game 6-1 or 7-2. Our defense this season has been pathetic. I can't imagine how bad it is next season after loosing this senior class and Matt Greene. Point blank There is no way MSU-M should be beating UND. Frankly they suck. And they have one player. Can't blame the goaltender for this loss. However, I wish Jordan would stay in the net and leave the puck alone. When he assisted on #18 first goal I was watching the play on the screen next to the beer stand and you could see no defensemen any where in the picture. Thats unexceptable. Bina shouldn't play any more and Kyle Radke should be in his place. I thought between the two Kyle played much better. After watching this team on Saturday nights it appears that Hak doesn't have the control that Blais had and I beginning to wonder why UND didn't try and pry Scott Sandelin away from UMD or gone after a high profile type coach. This decision hire Hak as the head coach looks worse and worse all the time. But I digress. To take a phrase from Tice's Phraseology, "enjoy the season." Because we suck.

I think that would be an accurate statement, however, they did call the Mavs for a few of these types of penalties. UND looked pretty good on the power play tonight too. That would seem to be a positive.

I agree with that. Who the heck cares. I say bring the horns to include the air horns and next time some fossil or missinformed tells you to quite it down. Tell them to go pound sand up their butt. The Canadians rocked and showed us how to make noise. Now its time to do that our selves.

I think that Ovechkin got everything that he deserved. The man is talented, however, he needs to grow up and learn some basic rules about sportmanship, the man is a pre-madonna. I also like the way the Canadians cleaned his clock up and down the ice by checking him every time Ovechkin touched the puck Or by all means act like that in the NHL. Because I bet my next paycheck that if Ovechkin acts like he did in the Ralph the past two weeks he will be getting his @$$ kicked all over the league, the NHL players will not tolerate his crap. I am also sure his coach will know about his antics and stop him long before he hits the ice.

Hey PCM, I think you might be confusing a lot of us with the fans that say F_#k the gophers, however, those clowns that chant that cheer are morons and show little if any class. I know a couple of the fans here personally that are in their thirties and wouldn't participate in such a moronic cheer.

I would say that Phil might get a work out if that is his defensemen next season. I might start calling our defensemen pylons... I honestly don't see Foyt with the team next season.

I am just hoping we can see the same Drew when they play this weekend. I have seen some amazing plays come from this young man.

What channel was the game on? I couldn't find it on last night. Sounds like the Gophers are human too losing 2-1.
