Yeah, I don't get that guy at all...let's play our most important games in an empty arena.
Edit: let's play in quiet, lifeless, empty arena. I don't get the logic.

Very generous donation. Could use 100 more fans like their son in the crowd at hockey games trying to get people excited and on their feet.
That's a generous amount of money for the Hockey and Football programs. That should help out a lot. Add the new athletic building/phase 2 nearing completion, that “should” vault the UND athletic department.

I wonder how many counties they are counting to get that number?
As far as the Government is concerned, the Bemidji MSA has 46,718 people in the 2023 census estimate. (Which consists of Beltrami county)
Bemidji itself has 15,946 as of the 2022 estimate.
That's far from 100,000 people. And a little misleading depending on how they are getting their numbers.
Search for Bemidji on this page to see the official numbers.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micropolitan_statistical_area
According to the 2020 Census the population was 14,574. It would be interesting to see where they're getting their stats from. Cass Lake, MN is 675.

rough night in the hood last night boys (check out neil carlson)...
but this is more a story about how cherry heights/lagrave/110 cherry street needs to get fixed asap....(last nights incident started at lagrave.....)
110 cherry st area used to be a nice quiet safe place or elderly, handicapped, and slightly mentally deficient people and you can't even come close to saying that anymore. thieves, druggies, totally mentally ill people and sometimes all three of those in the same person.
bo needs to fix this bc that area isn't safe or for those above people anymore which is a shame for people that need to live there.
This will give this post some context.

Wodon is filling his adult diaper about the NCAA ruling. Ivies will be left behind despite their untaxed billions in endowments.
I think the biggest problem is, no one really knows how this ruling is going to affect college hockey. There are a lot of moving parts, still. Now, the latest NCAA court settlement pretty much nixes the idea that the CHL players are no different than college hockey players. It's just a matter of time, once a CHL player sues the NCAA.
QuoteThis has been my argument from the very beginning. The coaches may never vote in favor of it, but these pending changes to the NCAA model make the change inevitable at some point.
I still don’t believe the NCAA coaches will ever vote to make the change within the normal legislative process. They didn’t in Naples earlier this month and it’s never likely to happen in the future. They won’t be forced to change the rule until a player (or group of players) from the CHL sues the NCAA, arguing that they have an illegal rule that cost them a six-figure scholarship (and potentially more now with revenue sharing). Yes. I believe Donny's sister Deanne runs a lot of the day to day.
I hope they wouldn't close that one, they have a Popeyes there.

The most recent Steel line chart shows him as committed, but that was over a month ago. COVID derailed his development, but he's had time to get back on track.

Interesting read.
A peek behind the curtains of how and why Mark Gronowski stuck with the Jackrabbits
QuoteThe 2024 Jackrabbits will look to climb to heights few have ever seen. Only three programs— NDSU, Appalachian State and Minnesota — have ever won three consecutive national championships in Division I college football; and South Dakota State has plans to become the fourth.
With trips to Cedar Falls, Fargo and Grand Forks on the schedule, it certainly won’t be easy.
But with Captain 11 back in the saddle, you’d be a fool to bet against the boys from Brookings.

Yep, UND was really good at blocking shots last season.

I think UST in the NCHC will be regretted by both the School and the Conference.
I am not against it, I think it's good to have an even number of teams.

Sad to point out that St. Thomas has already passed UND in MBB and WBB how long until they do the same in hockey? They've got the money.
Dude, give it a rest. Holy Cow!

If this is in reference to being stuck with Omaha for so long, I can understand and agree but if UND got matched with Denver(not going to happen) or Duluth, I’d be on board. Those are conference teams I want to see North Dakota play four times a year.
I am not against UNO per se, but can we play someone else four times a year? (I like their fans, they're fun). One year, it's UMD, another year, it's SCSU, ST.

Wonder if this will spur change in "rivals".
Now is SC/UMD; UND/UNO; DU/CC; WMU/Mia;
Future? UND/UMD; SC/UST; DU/CC; ASU/UNO; WMU/Mia?
I am tired of the whole rival's crap. I would rather not see the same boring team four times every year. Let's change it up from year-to-year.

If Bally Sports goes belly-up for good, that won't be an option either. It's only a matter of time.
The games are on Amazon Prime, too, if you buy a MLB.TV subscription.

Just raised holy hell with Midco this morning and demanded a $15 per month reduction in my bill, they are crediting my account. If they don't want to provide Bally North and Twins games then they are not charging me for it.
Midco better get this figured out with Bally North. Losing that station is not an option and I will drop them entirely and move to a different service. They are making it easier to do so every day.
DirecTV Stream has Bally Sports North.
