are you seriously saying TB is worse than RT? In what areas? RT was great in the meet-n-greet area but HORRIBLE in the administrative area. (apparently MATH was a challenge...) TB is okay in the PR category but also understands the $$$'s...Yes- weve had a couple LEMONS in the AD office but can't we make lemonade??? just RELAX! UND Hockey isn't entirely tied only to the athletic department. Blais didn't make a ton but got a hefty "bonus" from the Engelstad family (with incentives) for hanging around for the full term of his contract. I remember sitting in the endzone he ran into among a TON of Bison fans who were spewing garbage up until that point...I was on my feet as Jimmie ran in and, oddly enough, those Bison fans didn't have nearly as much to say after seeing that! For JF&R - this was one one of the PRICELESS moments of the UND/ndsu rivalry!

I thought 'DAY billed themselves as "the upper-midwest sports leader"? Guess not! Statewide coverage was a big part of the NDSU deal...'DAY couldn't offer that and that was a big part of why they "chose not to bid" on the contract.
