This has been an issue all season. There were some big, juicy rebounds to be exploited last night, but we had nobody close enough to take advantage of them.

My point is that if you build it big enough for FB to practice in, it makes no sense to cut FB's budget. Since Bubba took over, the program has been growing and gaining fans. Why jeopardize that in the name of ROI? This cannot be all about ROI and nothing else. If it was, most collegiate programs wouldn't even exist.

You don't build an indoor practice facility big enough for FB to practice in and then cut their budget. That makes no sense.

That reminds me, since our programs are moving into the Summit/MVFC, that means we'll be playing against teams that are funding FCOA. There goes your rationale (I think it was you) for not funding it because "the Big Sky schools aren't doing it".

If that was the case, WBB wouldn't draw flies to The Betty for home games.

Just wanted to remind people that not all MVFC schools are close enough to drive to. Same with the Summit League. Some people talk like the Summit/MVFC is a legitimate bus league, when in fact it is not.

Yeah, Youngstown, OH is just next door. Oh wait......

Which is why Midco should add ASN to their channel line-up. Maybe all of us should e-mail them and tell them we would like to have this network. They have a lot of college hockey, from what I have seen in their promos.

Why are you so alarmist? I usually am on your side on things, but I think you are jumping to conclusions about our program. Someone last week (maybe you, not sure) compared the program today to the end of Gino's tenure. That is preposterous. I saw the inglorious end to Gino's mostly successful tenure as the head of this program and this team is nowhere near that bad. We will reload next year and be back to our usual selves.

That is progress. But they have to do it year in and year out to be mentioned in the same breathe as Duke, UNC, etc.

That is a good point. And that is the only Frozen Four Flop I will blame on "bad luck". Felt like a Rocky Balboa punch to the gut. Can't imagine how the team felt.

Hey, don't blame me. I wasn't the one that brought Hakstol's name. But since it has been brought up, Hakstol had many teams that were loaded, with a full roster, that didn't get it done. If you are thinking about 2012, they didn't make it to the Frozen Four, they lost the regional final to *puke* Minnesota at the X. And yes, I am something, aren't I?

Until they do something in March, being ranked in the polls doesn't mean much.

I was just thinking that. Maybe that is the measuring stick we should use from now on. No Penrose this year, maybe not home ice either. But as long as we get in, we have a chance.
