The difference between FBS and FCS is bigger than the difference between D-2 and FCS. And the gap is even bigger between FBS G5 and FBS P5. You would go to a bowl game every year, but not a New Year's Day Six Bowl and definitely not the CFP. It's a trade-off for sure.
