  1. All MVFC games have been on ESPN3/ESPN+ since 2016. UND and the MVFC have done plenty to make it known that conference games would air on their network. How bout some personable responsibility to find something out on your own. Sorry to come off like an ass, but seriously, its 2021. If you want to find out information, you don't have to wait for it to be spoon fed to you. Look it up!!
  2. "Tablegating" in full effect this season. Especially at those two places!
  3. Tickets just went on sale for Bison games this morning at 8am. Not exactly flying off the shelves. Lots of tickets still available for the opener this weekend as well as the other games including NDSU and SDSU. I wouldn't assume the lack of ticket sales equates to lack of interest for the program. Just a really odd year in unprecedented circumstances.

  5. Likely a very limited quantity available and they will go fast, but....Tickets to the UND v NDSU game go onsale at 8am this morning. https://gobison.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetGroupList?groupCode=NDSU&linkID=ndsu&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=
  6. https://www.grandforksherald.com/news/1066668-From-the-archives-Learn-more-about-former-Olympian-multi-sport-athlete-Fritz-Pollard-Jr#.YCxEFcC3NUU.twitter "Given the time, the era and the social issues of the time, not only what he accomplished, but when and where he accomplished it and who he accomplished it in front of, it's extraordinary. It's really one of the most underrated and forgotten stories of UND athletics history." - Jason Hajdu
  7. UND hopes to rename athletics building after former Olympian Fritz Pollard https://www.grandforksherald.com/news/education/6890159-UND-hopes-to-rename-athletics-building-after-former-Olympian-Fritz-Pollard "The board’s approval would change the name of the High Performance Center, which was completed in 2015 and sits next to the soon-to-be removed Memorial Stadium, to the Fritz Pollard Jr. Athletic Center."
  8. With 3 seats between each pair of seats as well as an empty row in front and behind you, I would hope they "mask police" wouldn't get too bent out of shape if people aren't religiously wearing their mask correctly at all times. But......of course that will likely not be the case.
  9. Hawks - 31 Mangy Dogs - 27
  10. Doesn't really matter what FCS team they play. Any team other than teams in ND, SD, MN, or IA aren't going to travel well to Minneapolis. Only teams outside that area that you might have a chance at a decent amount traveling would be Montana, Montana St, or JMU. I would hope that Larsen made calls to those schools first. But, maybe NDSU doesn't really care. If I am Entz, I want 45000+ screaming Bison fans in the stands. Could care less that there aren't many fans from the other school. Probably prefers it!!
  11. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/football/6888140-Herald-UND-football-mailbag-How-the-QB-room-stands-biggest-improvements-biggest-weakness-etc. I think they really want to name Vaughn the starter, but he hasn't shown the consistency he needs to have to get the nod. Schuster may start this weekend, but wouldn't be surprised to see Vaughn start sooner than later.
  12. *According to ESPN's Basketball Power Index. Omaha has 2 wins TOTAL on the season. 2-18 overall. They have yet to win a game in Summit League play. They would likely be 2-20 and 0-12 in conference play had their 2 games against the Jacks not been cancelled. We just swept the top team in the Summit. Those factors apparently don't play into the almighty "ESPN Basketball Power Index.
  13. Yes. Due to our game in hand over St Cloud, sweeping this weekend guarantees us another Penrose Cup. With only 2 games the next 2 weeks after that before the Frozen Faceoff, that would give the entire team some much needed rest and time to heal up. So yes, let's sweep this weekend so we can make a run for #9!!
  14. McFeely blog: NDSU-Eastern Washington working toward game at U.S. Bank Stadium https://www.inforum.com/bison-media-zone/mens-sports/football/6887846-McFeely-blog-NDSU-Eastern-Washington-working-toward-game-at-U.S.-Bank-Stadium "Sources in Washington say the schools have agreed in principle to play. NDSU is working on a deal with the stadium, which is home to the NFL's Minnesota Vikings."
  15. Still lots of tickets for next weekends game (and the other games as well). So what is keeping people from buying tickets? Is it the obvious answer of COVID and people not wanting to be in crowds? The ticket price? The fact that the atmosphere will be pretty dead? Just surprised that so many tickets still remain.
  16. McFooley making some big predictions again. "NDSU vs. St. Thomas on Sept. 2, 2023, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis." https://www.inforum.com/bison-media-zone/mens-sports/football/6880153-McFeely-blog-How-does-Bison-game-vs.-St.-Thomas-at-U.S.-Bank-Stadium-sound Now I have no doubt that NDSU and AD Matt Larsen are looking into destination games for NDSU football. They have proven to be successful. Much like UND hockey destination games. Will be interesting to see what happens..
  17. Last row in the bottom sections is row S.
  18. Tickets on sale now!! Lots of great seats available. (For now)
  19. Of the next potential 11 games, UND would be in the state of ND for 10 of them. (5 regular season games at the Ralph, 3 NCHC playoff games at the Ralph, 2 games at the Scheels Center in Fargo, and just one regular season game at Omaha. Pretty smooth road to Pittsburgh!!
  20. Well yeah, that is what they usually do. But obviously adjusting that this year as all the games are at one site.
  21. Oh, you mean against a team that has one win on the season that was back on November 28th against a lowly D2 school? Yeah I'd say so!!
  22. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/football/6862525-Simon-Romfo-fulfills-dream-commits-to-play-football-at-UND Class A, but pretty good stats. - 3 time first team All State - Senior year he threw for 2448 yards, 33 TD's, 6 INT's and rushed for 1233 yards and 19 TD's
