I think all FU would have to do is hire someone as an assistant to Bohl then when Bohl officially leaves you just promote him to head coach. Sounds like something GT would try. Could even start recruiting right away

Did anyone else watch UND Sports Extra last night with Faison. Faison mentioned first they rank the candidates on a point system. Then will call and do phone interviews with about the top 15. From there he will pick 4 or 5 for on campus interviews. He thought someone would be hired around xmas. What bothers me is he mentioned that they have to do the point system / phone interview / on campus interview per legal issues. Didn't sound like he could hire someone right now if he wanted to. This University hiring system and North Dakota open records law is a bunch of bull$%!#. Shouldn't take over a month to hire a coach.

What bothers me the most about the Hardee situation is - the players knew he was clearly intoxicated and spoke up, where were the assistant coaches to step in? You can't tell me the assistants knew nothing about it unless they were intoxicated also. These student athletes deserve better than that. None of the assistants should be considered for the job in my opinion.

Agree.. Need someone with D1 experience. Caruso - No D1 experience = NO Bollinger - No head coaching experience = NO... Never been a coordinator and has only 2 years coaching QB's. Knows nothing about defense. (Would be the same as naming Schleuesner head coach) Tibesar - D1 experience as a coordinator + LB coach for Bears = MAYBE Hazelton - D1 coordinator + former bison coach = MAYBE (Not sure how I feel about a Bison coach at UND) Bubba - NO Lennon - NO Deboer - NO I need to see more names to choose from. Nothing on this list excites me. We need a D1 coach.

Curious to hear how others would grade this recruiting class so far. Felt we were on the cusp of having a decent to good class, but with not getting Thurman and some other decommits happening I feel like we're behind.

A couple points: 1. TV broadcast: Sweeney and Mac Schneider. I like these guys but they were an absolute snooze fest. No excitement what so ever. First game of the year -- show a little enthusiasm. 2. Our uniforms -- boy do we need uniforms. Lets get some style and please put the damn names on the uniforms.
