The USAF has always had an alternate base plan.
You move the assets away from weather that may impede flight operations. The former GFAFB B-52s and B-1s would "fly south" during blizzards.
So there's never been a plan for hurricanes before????
Ever ??
In the history of the Air Force....
dooooohkay
No this is to create more and more of a basis for perpetuation of the "needs" to respond to (Dr Evil air quotes) increased threats from the effects of global climate change to national security (Dr Evil air quotes)
And it's happening across the DOD and it's a complete grift on the American taxpayer

You think preparing for extreme weather events is "grift"? Hurricanes happen on the gulf coast all the time. You think flood insurance is a "grift" too?
Yes it is.

Not sure if the penalty is what resulted in the goal or the guy diving to block the open net.
The hook on the shooter for the empty net.
Goal awarded.

And that excludes his $2MM salary this season. Approaching $10 million in career earnings by the time you're 27 isn't too bad.
it's no gfhockey portfolio but a decent start none the less.

This caught my eye:
Grand Forks AFB has also been selected for a $246 million upgrade to its existing facilities to house and maintain fifth-generation fighter jets like the F-22 and F-35.
While the 319th does not fly combat aircraft, the air base is set to house aircraft evacuated from other air bases during extreme weather events, particularly from hurricane-prone areas on the Atlantic and Gulf coasts, so those units can continue to operate.
...
When those facilities aren’t being used for evacuation, the air base will support long-range combat training exercises called Agile Combat Employment.
So basically its taxpayer money just pissed directly into the wind to appease the global climate change grift.

In the realm of not that surprising news... Wes Carr out after the 5 worst years in Bismarck High hockey history.
Feel bad it didn't work out, great guy but, not the hockey coach they needed.
Was best for the program to part ways.... if there's even going to be one left.

Tyson Jost IS the cautionary tale.
He should be on speed dial of every UND coach's cell, to hand to players considering going before ready.This.
But for all the ups and downs Jost has had himself about 450 games on the show and made some nice coin so maybe not the example we think, and I don't think Blake sees himself Jostlike.... Im thinking he sees himself Oshielike and that seems to be an example that worked out and can for Blake as well.

This needs to be a curb stomp both nights.
Need to prove they're a team hell bent on winning and going to destroy an opponent like this with extreme shock and awe just for the annoyance of having to play them.
Killers kill.... sharks do sharky things... Winners Win.
Time to win.

Wondering if this went any further through the winter or if it was brought up again in the spring meeting.. haven't seen the minutes from that yet.

How does a AAA team operate vs a high school team? One or the other...same ages...?
In the world of NDHSAA (and all high school associations i guess) its very definetly one or the other.

I had this idea I a few years ago while analyzing some NDHSAA stats from the great work of Mr. Gillen's website.
I thought how one would award a ND HS equivalent of the Lady Bing Award, and at the time figured it ought to be called the Lady Grace (Link) award.
I looked at total production as it relates to penalties and PIMs (pts/PIMs)
Grace Links passing today reminded me of it and I pulled up the info for a few years.
So that being said here's the info for the past few years of the finalists with winners in bold (this season was really close amongst the finalists).
So, without further ado and, in no official capacity whatsoever, I award the Lady Gace trophy to:
2021-2022 Season G-A-Pts P PIMs Value (pts/PIMs)
1: Barron Stibbe Fargo Davies 31-17-48 0 0 48

Is the fighting sioux Facebook group still full of sycophants towards a player's mother? Felt sorry for her that she pursued adulation in a manner so embarassing for her son. With no account of my own my knowledge of it stemmed from here, which could have been exaggerated.
It's the most embarrassing collection of cringeworthy trash ever assembled.
The constant desperation to be recognized or even acknowledged by a players mom is creepy as a congressman running a daycare.

It's so bad in the elem systems right now...
So many of the "conspiracy" "crazy"... "oh give it a rest, that will never happen" things....
Have happened, it wasn't overnight, it was like we have been saying fir decades... the slippery slope stuff
Well it's all slipped.
And all of the kids today suffer for it.
As is intended.

4. at least we made it through this game healthy
5. hopefully this is the last loss of the season
1: Unacceptable top to bottom in the program.
2: This cannot be a strategy.
3: UNDvhas taught the future opponents well if they have any competency in their coaching staffs.
4: I guess yeah silverish lining maybe
5: hope in one hand.. flight to the east coast in thw other

As the third period drags on, this is getting more frustrating to watch. Can we score a goal 5 on 5?! Painful to watch. In last month we have made both CC and Omaha look like # 1 team in the country.
Or is it that these teams make UND look like like the bubble team they really are?

I always think it's best to rest a goalie on Friday as then Saturday the main guy goes into his week moreso on his regular schedule but
that probably doesn't matter ad much as it sounds like it might

China ain't invading on the beaches bud.
But that's 100% the message and optics they are presenting, not me.
Why should we just roll over and accept the waste and payoffs ??
Cause we benefit from this one....
The North Dakota way as usual, we hate the big government waste and the evil propaganda and protest with one hand and keep the other squarely on the bag-O-cash being shillled out to the other.
