Offense definitely in a major funk right now … not good. doesn’t put up a bunch of points, but I do think they’re the most effective when they run Z, Smith, and Skokna as a committee with a bunch of inside runs. Too many screens and RPOs and it just gets ugly.

Every game is a big opportunity. You are what your record says you are. Playoffs are a beautiful thing- everything is proven on the field. UND @ NDSU is in fact a road game, so quit obvious how it would / will go. Once in the bracket, though, no more conjecture- just playing football. But conjecture just so happens to be there in full force at this point while awaiting the bracket … interesting times.

Solid opportunities if indeed something like this happens … we’ll all find out soon …

UND wins next weekend at home, gets crushed the following weekend in Fargo versus NDSU. Cruel reality lesson. Unreal … supporting UND football is tough, but what else is new?

If UND loses, goes to 6-5, I’d fully expect an end of the season Bubba press conference: “the guys tried really hard this season, and we’re happy”. On to 2024, extensions for everyone. Let’s just hope UND wins. They likely will (I hope), but still get screwed somehow by NCAA FCS playoff committee.
