  1. If there is any silver lining to this horrific game and showing to the recruits, it's that I can't see Faison holding on to Mussman after this embarrassment. The whole state just saw us get run over and the best we can do is win 4 games, which is a decrease from last year's win total.
  2. Mussman's squad got caught with their pants down right there.
  3. I agree that Bartels looks good thus far. He definitely is playing better than Mollberg has been.
  4. Couldn't have said it better. I'm conserving my enthusiasm/energy for when Mussman is removed and this program starts on the road to revival.
  5. Absolutely. Not sure if the team or the announcers are more embarrassing.
  6. It's on FS North - you'll get it. For Midcontient: Standard definition: ch. 28 HD: ch. 623
  7. I'm going to simply digress by saying I respectfully disagree that Bohl's past has a negative effect on the interest of FBS schools. I don't know why you're bringing up Mussman's family. If you're referring to Mussman's family being affected by his potential removal, then think about the families that have had their institutional support wasted through poor football leadership and the lack of a winning product. I only ask that Mussman is respectfully relieved of his duties to conclude the season and his replacement be a proven leader/successor at the head coaching level.
  8. So you don't enjoy watching Bohl lead the Bizon out onto the field with enthusiasm before games? Fans like excitement, that's just the way it is. You're trying to say that fans would enjoy a boring atmosphere as long as the team is winning. That's probably true, but any fan would enjoy passion/energy along with winning rather than just pure winning. For example, both Belichick and Lombardi are/were successful coaches, but Lombardi would be more of a fan favorite due to the passion and energy he brought to each and every game.
  9. At 03:48 watch Dale lead the team out with some intensity - those were the good ole days. Mussman cant do that passionately to save his life.
  10. We all make mistakes, including coaches. It's what we do after the mistakes that count. Craig Bohl has righted his ship and likely won't even leave Fargo due do his new family. But, I'm sure FBS schools are interested in him due to his track record at NDSU. Also, he's had no personal issues since being in Fargo - so I'm sure other schools will appreciate his resilience and have no issue also. You can't keep overemphasizing the minor incident he had in Nebraska; that won't amount to anything currently. So there's my philosophical two-cents for the day,…
  11. Those message board comments were from 6 years ago - now, with 2 titles and several FBS wins, Bohl is a lot more attractive to the Nebraska faithful. I'm not real sure when bashing Bohl became a productive stance for UND football, but oh well. I guess when your football team sucks, people come up with all sorts of things to jabber about. And, until UND gets change at the top, there won't be a solution for the problem. There hasn't been any prior success, so what makes people think Mussman will suddenly turn into some amazing leader overnight? I have a lot of friends who are NDSUAAS supporters/alumni, so I had a chance to meet Bohl a few years back and he's not a bad guy in my opinion. UND football needs a passionate, knowledgable guy like that leading their program. Mussman may be nice, but he's a "football klutz" as far as I'm concerned. He just doesn't have the practicality and leadership necessary to be a good head coach.
  12. Perhaps when Grand Forks realizes it's not in Canada? Had to do it. But your point is valid; with the Ralph and tradition here, hockey will always be number one - even though hockey will always be # 4 in terms of national popularity.
  13. If there's any positive to the seating behind the baskets, it's that they could be easily upgraded and it's not overly impractical. Just install taller bleacher sets and you've accomplished an easy capacity increase.
  14. As far as home games go, NDSU is a must see/attend. However, the Montana and Weber State games should be big also. Could just as well throw in South Dakota State also.
  15. Trenbeath, along with Rob Hunt and Matt Anderson who played for NDSU, all played for Cavalier during Cavalier's glory years of the early 2000s. Although they were AA at that time, Cavalier has now dropped all the way down to 9-man football due to numbers. Over the past decade, other teams have had to do the same. In effect, Class AA is considerably weaker than it was even 10 years ago.
  16. Back to musical quarterbacks - oh goodie. This nationally televised game could still be somewhat closer than we expect, but I don't see anyway we end up winning. So, we show all of the skeptical recruits out there that they should be even more skeptical. Good work, Mussman.
  17. Petrino's situation was far more severe than Bohl's when he left Nebraska. Not a good comparison at all. If Pelini gets fired, which there is a good change he will, then Bohl will at least get some consideration, especially if NDSUAAS wins a third consecutive national title.
  18. You know this program is going through tough times when we don't even want nationally televised games because they will reveal the current ineptitude of the program. And yet there are people who want NOTHING to happen when this season is over and we begin preparing for next season. Those people should be ashamed of their lackadaisical philosophy.
  19. The 100-times better statement was a bit of a hyperbole; nevertheless, ND Class AA football does not offer much stiff competition. I'd take Class A most years over Class AA.
  20. Yeah, appears UND will still be on FS North this Saturday. The following Saturday, Nov.9 , will be when NDSUAAS is on FS North.
  21. He just doesn't have the measurables. In all honestly, all this speculation is rather moot because Hanson will never start a game at UND.
  22. Often times North Dakota Class A produces several better teams than what Class AA has to offer. So, in short, yes, North Dakota Class AA is rather weak in competition (Wahpeton and Fargo Shanley are usually quite talented however).
  23. The fact we entered this season without a sophomore, junior, or senior QB is a glaring issue that Mussman and staff screwed up on. I'll admit I too thought at the beginning of the season it wouldn't be nearly as big of an issue as what it has turned out to be. Then again, I was also banking on our QBs not being turnover machines playing in an offense with ABSOLUTELY no running game. Horrid defense to start the season didn't help either. If anything indicates inadequate coaching, the roster distribution and depth chart have proven to be downright bad.
  24. In the grand scheme of sports, America doesn't care about hockey. That simple. Want ADDITIONAL exposure onto what we already have with hockey? Do something with football and/or basketball. Football with Mussman has been a dud so all hope now shifts to basketball to try and make the dance. EDIT: I guess FS North would be the exception - they do carry a lot of hockey. But, football and basketball coverage should be a future goal for UND on FSN.
  25. Here you go, in case you forgot.
