I don't know. My guess is SHSU scores 14-17. NDSU has only given up 3 TDs twice all season and I'm still not convinced their offense is better than GSU. Last year the crowd was 50/50, this time I expect about 70/30 NDSU with the early purchases. Its seems as though Vigen always pulls something out of his rear in big games as well, it's crazy. Edit: Personally, in all big games this year I've gone with the theory that if NDSU scores 24 they will win. I will stick with that. Now, the IF portion....

Holy, major thread drift. One thing that Jensen doesn't get a lot of credit for is his ability to make plays running the ball. He doesn't have the "look" I suppose of a running QB, but there are times the past two seasons where he has been a major contributor there. Vigen and Bohl basically said he was getting the ball no matter what on the big 4th down play...and if you watch the replay he basically started lower his shoulder to bring it on at the 4 yard line. I'm looking for one huge play from Marcus Williams in Frisco. He has to make up for this past weekend, possibly his worst as a Bison returning and defensively.

I completely disagree with the first statement. The Bison can win if he throws for under 100. If he keeps the ball out of SHSU's hands, I like NDSU's chances regardless of yardage. Nothing has been pretty since the confeerence games started, that's not their style but it's successful. The past 3 weeks they have faced 3 of the best rushing teams in the nation and given up a total of 3 TDs. I'm not convinced SHSU will be able to move the ball like GSU or even Wofford for that matter, who failed to score a TD on offense as well.

Great effort by EWU to make it a game. Unreal. Awesome weekend of FCS football showcased by ESPN. Last year SHSU won on Friday and snatched up tickets. Sorry for the lack of tickets, SHSU fans.

Williams also had a missed tackle that resulted in a TD. I have tons of respect for GSU and Wofford for that matter. Two great games. As for Jensen....just absolutely missing guys that are open and also not seeing open guys. It is frustrating to sit in the endzone and watch plays develop and guys being missed. You gotta give him this....he is a leader, and he never panics. Unbelievable atmosphere. The best I've been in. I would love to see Eastern Washington. Make it happen.

Wentz has an absolute cannon I know that. Jensen wasn't exactly great in the playoffs last season either, he was battling that turf toe. These pick 6s must stop, it's ridiculous and for some reason the Bison choose those sideline routes over and over and rarely use the middle of the field.

ISU wasn't the defensive team NDSU or SDSU is. They got there on offense. I mean even a average Bison offense put 38 up on them on the road. SHSU will be much better defensively than ISU. I personally am pulling for EWU on that side of the bracket.

I don't venture to AGS I guess but since the ISU blue game he has been terrible and for the most part everyone calls it that. And the receiving corpse isn't much better. I feel like I'm talking about the Vikings here. Ish. Two good semifinal matchups. Georgia Southern vs NDSU Friday night. Sam Houston State at Eastern Washington. I watched the GSU game, very impressed with their team of course, coming back from 14 down. I have no clue who to pick on the Saturday game, impressive performances by both teams. Should be a fun weekend.

Yeah I haven't seen a whole lot of bison fans bragging up Jensen. A win is a win I guess. Wofford was tough as nails...

I didn't mean it that way as disrespect to UND, sorry. UND was a better basketball team last season than NDSU. It was more of a comment about NDSU having a better overall season, which I disagree with. Carry on... Yes...play the football game, I'm ready for it.

Look at some of ODUs scores this season. They obviously have a great offense, but not sure if their defense will be up to snuff on this tricky offense GSU brings in. I predict a shootout, here are some of their scores from the season: 64-61 (against new hampshire who just scored 7 against Wofford ...45-37 (against Richmond)...53-27 (against Georgia State)...41-31 (against Bill and Mary)...38-28 (against James Madison)...65-35 (playoffs Coastal Carolina)... And gave up 38 in their loss to Villinova. Jesus play some defense.

Can EWU run the ball? Bison had a had day in the 2nd half against ISU on the ground. Very avg mvfc defense, which is why I think EWU shuld be fine.

Yeah Bohl should really be concerned about guys who turned their jerseys in during quarterfinal week. It's an odd situation. Both dinwiddies had bright futures. Not so sure on the other kid as he obviously hasn't had a chance to make his mark yet. One thing it does is open up sme schollys...ndsu only had 7 available prior to this. I can't believe those boys from SHSU will want much to do with chilly weather. I'll go with the Bearcats, Old Dominion over GSU, NDSU over Wofford and EWU over Ill St. A very solid final 8 and quarterfinal matchups.
