I have heard that Gopher Bar near embassy suites has excellent Coneys if that's your thing. And no...it's not a "gopher" bar. I've been told by a longtime Sioux fan the place is an old school dump with awesome Coneys at a dirt cheap price.

I am a Gopher fan who happens to live in the middle of ND. I am not dumb enough to think that UND or Denver are just going to go away in the college hockey landscape. I mean the following blurb is not a fact. Although you claim it is: "The reason why, is solely on the fact, that those teams year in and year out will not compete or be competing for the National Tournament. Minnesota, Michigan State, Penn State, Wisconsin (on down years, happens to everyone, but the Sioux) and in the foreseeable future Nebraska (I know, still needs to come to fruition), will not be top elite talents winning the National Tournament. Not going to happen." All teams involved in the conferences will be just fine. You can't just discount the history there because they aren't included with one another. Sure you can wish, say and hope that those programs will fall off the map, but claiming that to be factual is inaccurate.

Both conferences will be good. It is impossible to predict who benefits. To stick a fork in any of these schools at this point is laughable and ignorant.

Every fan base has good and bad eggs, but UMD seems to have 2-3 that roam the web that make their entire fan base look stupid. Back on topic, absolutely disgusting what was chanted. I can't believe they can pre plan that and everyone involved just goes along.

I think my tickets are $18 per seat in the north end zone....5 tickets. If they jacked the price to $25 for a couple games I personally wouldn't bat an eye. UND, SDSU, USD, Montana, montana state and UNI are schools I'd be fine with depending on future schedules.

Like I've mentioned before. I wouldn't mind seeing a charge for students either. The student allotment frequently clears out at halftime for most games.

I'm not about to defend Shaver's comments but there isn't only one fan base who turns idiotic during those series.

Seems to me there were a couple big sky teams with open dates. I hope something works out, it would be sweet if UND had an open date there. The bison have a cupcake, then CSU on the road, then two open dates followed by UNI on the road. Although CSU isn't exactly a powerhouse, there is a very high probability of them starting 1-3 if they went to FSU to fill their schedule. Although I'd take that over a 6th home game vs Minot State i guess... Oh how interesting it would be if UND and NDSU had open dates and were just sitting there....
