  1. This game is horrible! No reason we should have these types of games on our schedule.
  2. Well put Sioux2013. We lost pretty much by 15 to top teams in the nation. That is to be expected. Cal poly, for me as well was a disappointing loss. During big sky play, we will be fine.
  3. Cratter I think disappointing is a bit far. They lost to teams that are expected to beat us. Teams that are nationally ranked, as well as teams that will eventually be ranked this season In Butler. Now if the same type of play goes on during conference play, then yes it is safe to say this season was disappointing. But choose whatever words you want.
  4. Is it safe to say this is a must win for this team? Game time action is tomorrow. Im not too familiar with this team. I know they have a big guy that is pretty good in Rashaud Gittens. Shall be fun.
  5. He runs the same offense in a zone that he runs in man. Doesn't work!
  6. On fast breaks Nash takes it against 2-3 guys versus looking for the cutter. To me he is good, but plays extremely out of control. Even on 2-on-1 breaks, he doesn't seem to know to "pass the ball and you can get it right back" method.
  7. Sioux2013 good points. They need to start swinging the ball off the pick. In order to beat Weber and Montana, we have to stop playing unselfish.
  8. I look at it like this, when Anderson and Huff are out of the game, no one really steps up besides maybe Shuler. Yes, Huff and Anderson take quite a few shots, but thats what scorers do. They are trying to score. I wouldn't say they're playing selfish at all. I think its unfair to say that about the very 2 guys who are the main reason of UND'S success. Not to mention, it doesn't help that Jones offense really is terrible. If you look at it closely, his offense is just 2 guards dribbling up top going nowhere, hoping to have a gap off the screens and force up a.shi*ty shot. He needs an offense where Nash and Huff are not standing and watching Webb and Anderson trying to create off of screens. Its very easy for other teams to defend. Its basically 5 against 2. Run some damn motions or set plays for Nash, Anderson, Shuler and Huff. Geez!
  9. Im curious about Antwi, but honestly I just dont see guys like him and Hobaugh getting minutes. We have to have Huff, Webb and Anderson in the game.
  10. It was down to 11 at one point, not a bad job for a UND team that played not so good.
  11. Thanks SWsiouxMN! That !@#$ started to get annoying. Let's bounce back Sioux!
  12. Take the football and hockey references to their board. This topic is about UND @ The Oregon tournament.
  13. Every team/player has off nights. This should be one of them.
  14. Sioux83, why did they need a punch in the mouth. Who says that about their home team?
  15. My point is that some guys are not and have not produced anything in 2, 3, 4 years. Why not be optimistic about a proven shooter who has D1 experience.
  16. Sioux2013....what are you talking about? What other "several key" players lose minutes? The Antwi's and Hobaugh's and Benton's of the world. Come on man! Why shouldn't we all get excited about someone that can contribute to us going to the dance. Ive noticed that it is pretty hard for you to be optimistic about this team. Are you even a fan?
  17. Huff went off against a great defense team and a great defense coavh in Bo Ryan; you can bet he will explode like that again. My disappointment is with Webb, im starting to think it has a lot to do with Hooker taking his minutes away. I would've never guessed that would be the case after a pretty good season last year by Webb. Anderson had a solid performance. Needs to kick it out when he driving in the lane amd not force layups over 7 footers. Shuler played solid. Nash played aggressive offensively. Needs to not force out od control shots. Calcaterra/Salmonson= sucked
  18. I agree 24/7, with that starting lineup. I also predict: Webb-4 steals, 10 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist (2 alley oop dunks to Huff) Huff- 23 pts, 7 Rebounds, 4 dunks, 3 steals Anderson- 17 points, 7 assist, 2 reb Nash-12 pts, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks Traylor- 8 pts, 12 rebounds Shuler- 12 pts (3 three balls) Hooker- 8 pts, 5 assist
