Plus its not just the big names who get paid.The first scandal that I ever heard about was Illinois and the coach was Pete Elliot. That goes back to the 60s. There is also documentary proof of players getting paid to play football and not having to attend class that goes way back to the beginning of football. I also have personal knowledge of players who got paid while I was at Iowa. Fantasy????

Most of us realized along time ago that we had caught lightening in a bottle. Most also understand it cant last forever and cant believe its lasted this long. But I am certainly not complacent as I understand the commitment it takes to do hat has been done and needs to be done in the future. Fact is its not complacency in the fan base you have to worry about. Its within the Athletic Dept and the team. Considering the building projects and the leadership involved I dont see any complacency for the near future.

Ive stayed at the Gaylord convention center when I was there for the NWTF convention and sports show and it wasnt close to that. I just checked and they are at 225.00 to 275.00. Across the street there are a bunch of off brand hotels that are considerably cheaper. Now I have to ask---whose charging 350-400 a night??? Not being a dick I am truly curious.

We are staying next to the stadium and its 200.00 to 250.00 a night on game weekend. Nashville is going to be 400.00 to 600.00 a night?

Plus having been to numerous SDSU games I can tell you for a fact that they are on the one of the lower rungs in regards to fan behavior towards other fan bases.

I know a few fans that go there after every game and I would have heard about that if it would have happened.
