speaking of police...i think i counted three police officers at this game? seems like the city of gf could cut back on that little? the ratio of cops+betty employees to fans was a quite small but for my first und volleyball game ever it was still fun...the crowd reminded back when und mens' bball was in their first year of transition playing mayville state?

biked by the old ralph today and didn't see any sign that the ipf was even close to happening?? is und weeks, months, or years away from things happening (first--the old raph being torn down!!!) and how many phases are there...one two or three? and how much cash is needed for each phase and how much cash is actually in th banks for each phase??? anyone think that anyone at und hinted at mr chipman (when he was in town last week) that und's contract with the alerus runs out in about nine years and ..........? just wondering

my prediction for the game is.....hanson starts but his helmet pops off so he has to sit for one play and muss accidentily sends in mollberg instead of marcus for that one play and then the real qb controversy starts!!!!

most people knew that this was most likely a loss before the season started i just don't like the offensive game plan tonite?? it was an absolute joke but from here you pick a qb and stick with him and on defense play the guys that wanna hit someone and i don't how care how young or old they are

didn't see what happened on that particular play tonite but back in the portland state game d-goard had the hit of game against that giant qb when he went helmet to helmet (he got a bogus penalty on the play btw) and he got a neck/nerve stinger and its been bothering him since so i'm assuming he did something to really really aggravate tonite..i'm sure he will be just fine

i feel so bad for marcus it makes me sick...starts out with a nice td drive and his reward? take a seat for a guy that can hardly run? when i saw merseroux in the hole one on one on ew's second drive and he madee almost no effort to tackle their rb his ass should have been on the sideline for the rest of the game... problem i have with the last few games is that the opposing coaches have obviously watched some film and made some changes to where we have'nt thrown a td pass in nine quarters yet it seems like our coaches aren't doing anything to keep opposing coaches on their toes?

houston baptist got into the southland conference and is adding fb this year or next so they will be happy there not so sure where ut-pa will end up but by looking at their name they would be perfect for the ncc2.1 as a travel partner to unipui? and if they do would they try to fool everyone by being only refered to as the university of texas?

i should have prefaced my rb breakdown by saying that if we don't have one rb that sticks out as the best go with the fastest one because that guy could take a simple screen pass and take it to the house (unlike sutton who turns slowly upfield and his tackled by a the first defender that comes across his line of sight) and change the score, field postion, or momentum of the game....my guess is that sparks is probably our best all around running back and he doesn't even see the field

whoever is the fastest starts---miller whoever is the 2nd fastest is backup---garmen whoever is the 3rd fastest is third string---sparks sutton is toooooooo sloooooooooow...he doesn't scare anyone is this league meserioux is the sofest/weakest link on defense....he needs to sit and j-butler needs to get on the field---NOW

there was one throw that marcus had against sdsu that was a throw that was very impressive but maybe not a lot of people saw...he threw it over the linebacker and in front of the db and hit jameer right in his hands by the sideline (not sure how long the throw was but it was somewhat long/deep)...anyone have video of that throw post it bc it showed he is capable of those touch throws to go with the deep throws....

marcus for sure... pj sparks gets some playing time too

unless i'm missing something but marcus is clearly the starter and will be unless the wheels completely fall off? marcus will start next week against poly for sure...there is no controversy.

years ago the alerus spent a bunch of money to make the alerus seem like the home field for the university of north dakota?? they put a football helmet on the southwest entrance they put old school pics in the lobby they hung generic championship banners from the roof (blocking the video screen if you sit high enough?) they put large banners saying university of north dakota at the base of the east and west stands but when they had a chance to make the alerus seem like und's home field....they covered the HOME FIELD with six non-und identifying logo's??? there was a reason terrell owens ran to midfield as a 49er and stood on the Dallas Cowboys logo? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-nxdzgQH8U maybe when hardin catches a td against poly next saturday he will run to midfield and slam the fb down against the alerus logo to get the crowd fired up??

distance between conference schools doesn't mean much anymore for schools like und that charter to most sporting events...i'm assuming that nmsu would be the same in terms of having enough money to fly to whatever conference ends up taking them? ask most athletes would you rather fly a few hours west to missoula, mt (und) or bus 4-6 hours to fort wayne, in (ndac, sdsu, usd, omaha, uni)

my hangup with muss in that fresno game is that when they took possession of the ball down six with a few minutes left he should have told his players and coaches....4 downs, no punts, lets go win this damn game....
