  1. i think that bball will see a big big jump in attendance.....partly because d1 bball isn't split like football (big/small fbs/fcs). one thing that bugs me about the betty is the how far the fans are from courtside...at hyslops guys inbounding the ball almost had to ask fans to move a little...now they are a good five to six fee back on the east and west and ten to 12 feet back on the north and south risers.....MOVE THEM UP

  2. i've seen that one but its from four days ago just wondering what progress has been made....the oliver stone in me says that the alerus people are gonna give the people what they want at mid-field and when that install-cam gets turned on a "nd" will be at midfield?????

  3. you have to know that denver is a school most presidents would love to be affiliated with? i still think seattle will wiggle into the wcc sooner rather than later which would leave denver justing hanging around...i would love for und to have denver as a oly sport conference member....

  4. i think people are getting the naming rights contract and the actual logos on the field confused...yes the naming right agreement makes money for the alerus so in theory that could benefit und but the actual logos on the field do no create any revenue for und athletics...if i'm not incorrect the naming rights says the alerus logos are to be postioned at midfield? whose to say that the alerus people decided to put a huge mountain dew logo at the 25 yard line on the south side of the buildng and a huge burger king logo at the 25 on the north side? now that would bring in some new revenue!!!

someone please show me one sporting venue where the name of the building is larger than the logo of the main tenant?

  5. maybe someone at the aurora (will not call it the alerus anymore) saw how you could put a whole bunch of crap on a football field and actually make it look ok (fargodome) and actually wised up and changed the look of it?

  6. was biking by the old rea/eerc area saturday...is it just me or does that new eerc building make it really tight to fit what is proposed in some the the drawings you see online for the ipf? that building overlaps about a quarter of the way into the old rea's footprint?

  7. i don't see the montanas "personally" getting und into the bsc one year and the next ditching them for the wac? they will bring und (and maybe ndac) with them whereever they go...as for the alerus would the 15k rule be ok with we have 13k in the main arena and 2k somewhere else inthe building (standing room only in the ballroom watching on cctv?)...also with the new pit being dug in the south endzone that pretty much elimnates any expansion south to add anymore seats unless you wanna admit you just threw away another million dollars?

  8. not an expert on how many sports all these different schools need but yes that is funny that baseball could get us in....but if the wac needed one more sport some people were throwing around men's soccer? soccer? how about since denver already has lacrosse, why not lacrosse? probably just as cheap as soccer to start up but 1000 times more fun to watch!!!! sica??

  9. i read a lot about this today (slow day at work) and if montana and msu are for it (which it sounds like they are the ones pushing for it) then I'm all for it.....it puts the WAC on a couple of years of life support (while um/msu decide once and for all what they want to do) and if it doesn't work then um, msu, psu, sac, and und go back to the big sky (prolly along with idaho) and the wac dies and the bsc is the third and last western fb conf in the west...

  10. what i don't understand is if we are getting new uniforms (all black or majority black) why are we worried matching helmets to old jerseys that won't be worn?

  11. CAA Football leads all conferences with 15 selections each from nine member schools.

The Big Sky and Southland conferences have 14 selections each and the Southern Conference follows with 13.

anyone see the ncc2.1 football conference on this list?
