this is a very very pro hockey message board...i think with the percentage of nodaks catching up in the above poll just shows that the non-rr crowd was all over the place...most people when they saw RR in final dozen or so knew that was their pick and never swayed...the other voters need some time and influence to decide on a name and i think that hurts their chances...you take all the fh votes out there and give them to the nodaks and its a runaway but splitting votes three ways for the hockey crowd between fh, ns, and nodaks in the long run will hurt all three...

hope a few more votes were cast for RR after that cluster(##(#()@ webcast...

or nodaks nodak...or nodak nodak...the possibilities for this nickname are endless

this nodak crap is already hurting our brand...we are known as either university of north dakota, north dakota, or und...this nodak crap is already hurting our national branding...nodak on the power play, nodak is with the goal, or nodak will be shorthanded...total crap....

i've said at the beginning that those are good numbers up there...a lot of hockey only fans on here so i was thinking that nodaks (especially with the blessing of gods like brad berry/schollsman) would be way ahead on here...RR will win. if nodaks does i'm fine...

und had more fans from at a regular season hockey game against notre dame in the little city of grand forks than the ndac had in the big city fago for their first home playoff game in nearly half a century a couple years ago...12k reported (wday remember) attendance at the dome when it is more like 10k...or less

because its hard to have those logos if its the RR (western theme) or FH (nature theme) or NS(more than likely the old ns logo...tweaked or not) .... if its the nodaks its up to whomever its up to to decide and i don't trust people like tom dennis, pres kelly, or 99 percent of the other pc libs in higher education....

i don't need a link...let's put it this way...for every chevy, gmc, or ford pickup you see in north dakota count that as a person that would buy roughrider gear....for every prius or range rover count that as a sundog gear....a good safe nostalgic chevy impala would be nodak gear...a good mpg car for students like a ford focus or honda civic would be fighting hawk gear....and a nice fancy upscale bloomington, minnesota car like a porshe would be north star gear.... i would say there are more pickups in nd than the others combined...there you go.

ask the swimming and diving teams in a couple of months if "finances" have hurt them...
