i've said this for years.........get rid of the no fun police aka ralph natzi's and al natzi's and the students and even those soccer moms will show up again...... remember when ralph had "circus girls" in the luxury box and every dead puck it was boobs galore.....place loved it.....now you can't even show a cotton top swiging a beer during a commercial break.

i think i know the answer......i remember going to the first summit league men's bball game thinking i might see some younger blood at the betty...nope...same cottontops i think we are just seeing bump from have those 3 towns within driving range of gf (verm not so much but still closer than cedar city utah)

i guess the question is did moving to summit/mvfc/midcon/gateway conference increase demand for tickets for new/returning siouxfans or did the increase come from visiting fans of closer fan bases....brookings, fargo, vermillin?

In 2013 I took my dad to Memorial Field to watch one of the first practices bc he wanted to see the "local kid" Joe Mollberg and i remember seeing Kurt P throwing the ball and he totally reminded me of Kelby Klosterman with his size and kinda over the top release point (and a nice tight spiral on every damn throw) (my dad was going downhill with memory stuff so I asked if he wanted to go see the "local kid"....we sat at Memorial Stadium one more time b4 he passed away a couple years later.....only stayed a short while before he said " i gotta piss bad where are the bathrooms"...this was when obviously memorial didn't have access to the inside with bathrooms and concessions so I told him we gotta go home (near viking elemtary).....we had parked near the usda building a little ways down...he couldn't make it....dropped his sweaty's down to his knees and bare assed pissed on that large cottonwood by the east entrance to the pollard...memories.)

while looking up all the qb's that have come and gone in the last 10 years under bubba/danny i knew that kurt padenlach did well at unlv but didn't know that he is actually playing professional football in f'n JAPAN... it's called the x league and it has PROMOTION and RELEGATION...love it! (put in this thread bc the idea of d1 football not having conferneces but using R and R is kinda cool to me)

I do check out practices from time to time when walking by or biking by. The last time i saw a guy at a position that didn't look like the others was Matt Waletzko. He just looked massive...moved well out there. I assumed he would start in week one by what i saw but it took a few weeks or an injury to get in the staring lineup around week five or six iirc. Jerry reminds me of him. If you didn't know anything about UND's qb's and you checked out a practice or scrimmage you would think he's qb1. He stands out from the other three that much to me. so.... had a good commit but left for FBS....cedric case is currently playing qb at central missouri (d2) picked up schuster....no one else at the d1 level wanted him so pretty easy to pickup quincy had hype....but i guess couldn't throw or run? fenney...jury is stil out but looks promising... So since 2013 our qb's were are... 2013 joe mollberg-highly sought after...sucked...moved to TE ryan bartels-played a bit than lost spot to keaton---had fbs offer but ending up sucking jake hanson-local kid kurt palendach-left after one year after seeing that mollberg was the future....currently a pro quarterback....in Japan. 2014 keaton-best qb bubba's had...gutty fast smart qb 2015 brad heidelberg-horrible 2016 eric prater-? 2017 brock boltman-moved to wr and renamed the brockstar nate "axel" ketteringham-second best qb bubba's had....should never have another down for the sioux after cussing out fans on the catwalk andrew zimmerman-played a bit...got hurt...not good. 2018 noah grover? 2019 tommy schuster-current starter-1 playoff win (covid season) 2020 spring quincy vaughn-moved to te...can't throw or run reid neal-? ethan postler-? 2021 trey feeney-current qb2 simon romfo-current qb3 2022 colton hackel? 2023 jerry kaminski-soon to be qb1

gotta job for the amateur structural engineers in GF....go check out the new building across the street from city hall....go peek down the east of the buidling (the side facing the hub pub/alley).....tell me that wall isn't crooked. Maybe it's supposed to be that way i don't know but seems odd that it starts straight....veers inward a little...that goes back out.... am i seeing things...could that be by design. just curious.
