I also think it is very ECAC friendly to assume that both Quinnipiac and Harvard get in... -

you're assuming that Quinnipiac will win the ECAC tournament...I think Red Sox and I are both probably thinking Harvard will win it -

I haven't seen a dominant team yet. This year's winner will once again be the team that puts together the best back to back 4 team tournaments. Case in point- what did Bemidji do in a 4 team tourney this past weekend? Do I think that team could be UND or MSU-M? Certainly. Are there others as well? You bet. -

That would be a judgment call, as you could impact 2 brackets or 3. Meaning, there isnt much difference between Lowell and Vermont, so do you just swap 16 and 14 and leave 15 in its natural place, or do you shuffle all of them -

The way I see it, Fargo Regional would have UND, Lowell, UMD, and Tech...if the season ended today that is... -

Being invisible is generally a good thing when referencing a defensive defenseman. Matt Greene was generally invisible unless he was commiting a penalty -
I was at the game last night and got to hear the usual Gopher fan stupidity at the X. I got to hear banter from a Gopher fan early on about MSU's "soft schedule"...people who speak on opinions without fact really irritate me...MSU's Strength of Schedule is significantly more difficult than Minnesota's. It reminded me of the age excuse- I had to hear about how much younger the Gophers were than everybody else last year and that's why they didn't win the title- again, facts are stubborn things- you can average out the ages of teams on hockeydb...if the average age is 20 vs 20.25...big excuse...

You beat the trap by tightening your gaps on the breakout and making very short passes. Trap works because they have numbers advantage in neutral zone- you have to either beat a guy one one one or with a pass. Pass is much easier and safer. -
Yup, and things like the MOA, restaurants, pro sports also make it better family road trip.

And Paul Bittner is #19 on central scouting at mid- year...and skating top 6 in the CHL top prospect game

To handsome ex-Sioux like Chris Porter and Zach Parise, the double team in college likely meant something very different... For the record, I have absolutely no substance behind this stupid, attempt at humor, to my knowledge, both men are nothing but class acts to teammates, fans and the ladies.

A teenagers development is about so much more than on the ice skill. The goal should be to play hockey, not necessarily to play hockey in any particular league or level. The difference with the NHL is about money and fame...which should not be the motivation for any career that will ultimately result is self-actualization. Kids and parents need to ask themselves is this about playing hockey or is this about trying to make millions...

And our single first round forward hasn't returned from the WJC...oh wait...
