So, we can play with forward chemistry until we are blue in the face. Move Yon up with Gersich and Jost. Bench Simo, JJ and Wilkie indefinitely...problem is that our dcorps is the real problem and we just don't have the horses back there. Other than the older Poolman, I haven't seen any of them do ANYTHING...and not in the good way of unnoticed dmen, but in the bad way of noticed...

Gornall, Bowen and Yon all played Sioux hockey tonight. I thought Olsen was okay. Jost and Gersich were fine. Everybody else was a passenger. Gardner ran the MSU goalie- embarrassing. Pogo did nothing. All I saw JJ do was blow a tire. Simo- nothing but turnover the puck. D were out of position a lot and losing physical battles.

I feel like guys don't know or aren't buying into their roles right now. We are losing a lot of races and a lot of puck battles. It's a tough time here in Sioux puck land.

Hard to take positives out of this weekend. I am terrified of next year without Boeser and Jost.

Assuming it's the wrist, Boeser is in a suit again tonight. His health is key to any long term success.

It was, and the circumstances surrounding it made it obvious. UND owning puck possession, MSU guys can't even stand they are so gassed. Can't leave the game up to the officials, but that was as bad a delay of game as there can possibly be.

flawed logic...the logic would be that UND losing in the F4 would take some of the sting out of the Porter goal less for Gopher fans. Akin to The Gophers losing in the title game takes some of the sting out of 0.6 for Sioux fans. It is about the sting of defeat, not the inverse.

I do think this might be the year we have to play on the road for the conf tourney. I do think we'll figure it out to be a NCAA tourney team

The problem is neutral zone and d zone coverage, but more importantly is lack of offensive zone possession.

How many grade "A" scoring chances has Cam stopped? TONs...he is not the problem

DU does have 11 upperclassmen to our 7...we both have1 stud fr draft pick and one proven stud soph

They've gotten on the scoresheet due to individual talent, but they really haven't played as a cohesive unit...maybe the overemphasis on Boeser has helped Gersich...I dunno...I haven't seen them carry the play regularly.

I will reiterate: we need an identity...what will be the character of this team? I think the top line needs to be split up. It isn't working...hasn't worked with top teams

To be honest, losing to tournament teams early in the year might be exactly the recipe for building this team

Me neither- swept on the road by a good, older UMD, tie and loss at Minny, tie and loss vs DU. We are playing more experienced, likely tourney teams with a young team. They are better right now, we will get better.

I think Cam has actually played well.
