Especially considering the draft status of some of those d-men...Lee and Finley were both #1s...Chorney was a high #2 and a captain of team USA at the WJC..Smaby was a #2...I have called that into question myself... excellent two-way forwards...you bet...some forward grinders who develop over 4 years and make it...yup...d-men...well...Greene... Especially odd given Hak and Berry are both dmen.

In our 5 conference losses, we are a combined 1/20 on the pp. That is an abysmal 5% for those math majors. Pure and simple, our ability to turn that around and capitalize with the man advantage will determine our playoff destiny. Especially in NCAA tourney games with some officiating crews that call it like a girls U-16 and with all those TV time outs.

If the PWR is accurate, we saw two Frozen Four caliber teams go wire to wire with each other. Very entertaining hockey. Refs more involved in outcomes than I'd like, but you have to play through that. Liked the character this weekend- battling back last night, finishing it tonight.
