Dean is a class act, great guy, and #LEGEND as a coach. I have had the opportunity to talk to him a few times, and he was always willing to offer a smile and a good time. He is one of the great ones in the game and a difference maker in NCAA hockey. In the list of people that UND hockey owes gratitude, I think Dean and Ralph top the list. His teams were incredible to watch, he recruited better than anyone, and he represented the program with great dignity. Can we get him to consult for us? Put him on some kind of retainer?

Not going to do the whole walk, but as of this minute: Fargo DU vs WCHA champ Lowell vs UND Cincy UMD vs AHA champ (AF) Minny vs Notre Dame Providence WMU vs PSU Union vs Providence NH Harvard vs OSU BU vs Cornell Only swapped 5 and 7 (Minny and Union for attendance) as well as 9 and 11 (UND host)

We will play either UMD or DU. A loss to either hurts, but is not RPI killing. I feel pretty safe in terms of a bid right now. Many top 16 teams will be playing each other in playoffs, which means someone's PWR has to get dinged. I don't have Monte Carlo software, but that's what logic is telling me.

Several very flippable PWR just ahead of us based on RPI and either tied PWR where we lose on RPI or ones where an RPI flip will make us tied with RPI as tie breaker that would flip the comparison.
