    You also want to protect the freshies early in the season...putting Mishmash with the Gardner and Pogo puts him in a great position for success early. Same goes with pairing Guch with Gersich...get them some points early on.

    So many combos in that bottom 6... Adams, Simo, Jones JJ, Hoff, Olson Yon's got some scorer upside in him that I'd like to experiment with too...Smith available as a physical presence and relief as well... We will be able to roll 4 this year

    RW after Pogo is totally up for grabs IMO. Jones, Bowen, and Olson will fill the wings, but chemistry and work will determine who plays where. I actually really like Mishmash, Gardner, Pogo as the first line- tough to play against, NHL potential. I want to see Gersich and Guch together maybe Bowen plays with them- they could fly

    I do think that the best two teams made it to the final. I think UND, WMU, BU, Harvard, Minny, and Lowell were right behind, any given night... Then Penn State, Ohio State, Union, Cornell, Providence, Notre Dame, Air Force, BC just behind them

    For sure top 6: Pogo, Gersich, Gardner (these guys will play) Incoming recruits with top 6 potential: Mishmash, Guch, Adams (these guys will play minutes until they prove they can't) Earned lineup spots last year: Bowen, Olson, Hoff, JJ, Simo (hard to sit any of these guys) Fighting for ice: Yon, Wilkie, Smith, Gornall, Jones (all bring something to the table, where do they fit)

    I want to see Guch with Gersich. Gotta believe that Adams will be a regular...he's a strong producer in the USHL and an NHL draft pick. I also worry that there isn't a true offensive playmaker on that Legion of Doom line. In fact, that is likely our biggest weakness on the team next year- a lack of top-end playmaker, pass-first kinda guy...maybe Guch fits that.

    My little boy is loving watching any international hockey- he thinks its awesome- and I dont disagree. Its fun hockey played at a high level. For boys and girls (that typically play together through Squirt) this is exactly how to play. Body contact, but no checking, move the puck...I've been coaching Mite, and didn't play organized after high school- intramural doesn't count, but these women are good players!!! I am engaged in this tourney- if you're mocking, just watch a period.
