Jost had a couple games where he looked like he was NHL ready...he also had games where he was a non-factor such as the last one. For Jost it might be a similar situation to Nick Schmaltz. Depending on off-season moves by the Avs, he would turn if the roster situation becomes favorable. True, his deal slides should he turn and not get 10 games in the NHL, but if he is all but guaranteed his 10, he'll go. If I'm in mgt in Colorado, I am also a little concerned by the lack of true development/improvement in his game over the past few months.

And I bet if you asked Osh, he say that he got to play with Toews. You didn't notice Toews as much, because he was always in the right place.

Yup- when you need super slow motion and multiple cameras and after 14 minutes conclude it was offsides by the smallest of possible margins- seems like indisputable evidence to overturn the call on the ice...especially on a zone entry well before the goal

Hoff wears a size 8 men's skate on his right foot, but apparently a youth 2 on his left...I'm surprised he doesn't just skate in circles given this issue

I wasn't overreacting yesterday at all...not a bit...I never overreact to sports after 7/8 beers...never...especially not season ending losses in double OT after thinking it was won. I keep that totally in proportion with my regular sober, real-life...total perspective...always...

If a player who is signed to an entry-level contract and is 18 or 19 years of age (as of September 15 of the signing year), does not play in a minimum of 10 NHL games (including both regular season and playoffs; AHL games do not count), their contract is considered to ‘slide’, or extend, by one year. For example, if a player signed an ELC for three seasons from 2015-16 to 2017-2018, and their contract slides, their contract is now effective from 2016-17 to 2018-19. An exception to this rule is that if the player is 19 on September 15 of the first year of their contract, and turns 20 between September 16 and December 31, their contract does not slide. Players who sign at 18 years old are eligible to have their contracted extended for 2 seasons. This extension does not apply if the player turns 20 between September 16 and December 31 in his signing year. Signing bonuses do not slide, and are paid to the player regardless of a slide, this causes the annual average of the players contract to change, and therefore the cap hit decreases for this player.

Seems like the "burden of proof" was flipped on this. Like they needed to prove it was onside irrefutably. The other issue, brought up here, that is also clear on the screen shot: BU had 3 guys back! Offside by a millisecond did nothing to impact the play or outcome.

Brock has done some cool things for my little boy. He is a great player and part of the Sioux family forever. Knowing him a little, he was not "mailing it in" EVER. If he signs tonight, he was not thinking about it on the ice earlier. He is a competitor and wanted to win again. After two years, with a rookie max in front of him and the ability to burn a year fast towards UFA..good luck kid!
