I wasn't overreacting yesterday at all...not a bit...I never overreact to sports after 7/8 beers...never...especially not season ending losses in double OT after thinking it was won. I keep that totally in proportion with my regular sober, real-life...total perspective...always...

Boeser burns a year, gets closer to the big bucks Jost would not this year, but it might help him make the squad next year

Its age based- Brock is 20 What is an Entry Level Slide? If a player who is signed to an entry-level contract and is 18 or 19 years of age (as of September 15 of the signing year), does not play in a minimum of 10 NHL games (including both regular season and playoffs; AHL games do not count), their contract is considered to ‘slide’, or extend, by one year. For example, if a player signed an ELC for three seasons from 2015-16 to 2017-2018, and their contract slides, their contract is now effective from 2016-17 to 2018-19. An exception to this rule is that if the player is 19 on September 15 of the first year of their contract, and turns 20 between September 16 and December 31, their contract does not slide. Players who sign at 18 years old are eligible to have their contracted extended for 2 seasons. This extension does not apply if the player turns 20 between September 16 and December 31 in his signing year. Signing bonuses do not slide, and are paid to the player regardless of a slide, this causes the annual average of the players contract to change, and therefore the cap hit decreases for this player.

I think his deal slides based on age...in other words, I don't think he burns a year of ELC unless he plays 10 games, because he is still junior eligible

I zoomed in tight. Hoff's left skate is on the blueline at that instant. The puck is on the blueline. we'd need to advance the frame a millisecond

Seems like the "burden of proof" was flipped on this. Like they needed to prove it was onside irrefutably. The other issue, brought up here, that is also clear on the screen shot: BU had 3 guys back! Offside by a millisecond did nothing to impact the play or outcome.

not incorrect, but tone-

I hope he enjoys making $20k in the coast

Brock has done some cool things for my little boy. He is a great player and part of the Sioux family forever. Knowing him a little, he was not "mailing it in" EVER. If he signs tonight, he was not thinking about it on the ice earlier. He is a competitor and wanted to win again. After two years, with a rookie max in front of him and the ability to burn a year fast towards UFA..good luck kid!

I read this article and just saw Boston homer all over it
-
no doubt, we were the opposite
-
UND dominated the play, BU was opportunistic and got very fortunate
-
Are you from Boston? Either that or you know nothing about hockey...ever played? Ever played past squirts?

I'd guess Brock just had his lifelong dream come true... Kid was key to #8 Wish him tons of luck

He freaked out when I told him we were playing him. He say Chabot and also freaked, and I told him it was a different chabot

We watched WJC religiously- that's why it hurt him

Understand that we all get irrational and vent on here. I am very guilty, but I've been a Sioux fan for 40 years. I have ridden the ups and downs. This is a down, and I will recover in a week or two. From my basement as a boy as Phil Sykes to the cox park outdoor as Jim Archibald to Purpur as Tony Hrkac to purpur vs the Panzers for real to the bar as Parise and Toews to back to the basement with my little boy as Boeser to tonight...Fighting Sioux forever

My six year old was bawling- he now hates Charlie McAvoy with all his little heart

Just couldn't put it together this year. I do feel that Tucker would've made a difference
