So Brad is considered a gem of a guy for 40 years, by pretty much everyone, but underneath it all he is anything but? No way. We will also never know, because you don't bring forward things like that unless you want to get into lawfare and burn it all down. Nobody wants that.

I don't think its the camps, that's only going to really attract the locals. What I think they really need to do is demonstrate chippaz and creativity and dazzle on the ice. When your team is not overly talented, you play a certain way as a result.

yep, but that wasn't a long trip, and he was Bobby's boy...and I am not a fan of Bobby. I look at the head coach of UND hockey the same way I look at a young man coming to pick up my daughter for a date...I am going to be very, very judgmental...fair or not

I'm open minded enough to accept that. He could be the greatest guy and Dean Blais, Herb Brooks, Jack Parker and Mother Theresa incarnate as a coach and human. I just have little to no respect for SCSU and Augustana as either hockey programs or institutions of higher learning. Not trying to poke any bears. Just saying. I have no hate for the man, I have respect for what he's accomplished. I just don't really respect those schools.

In the hierarchy of programs that don't belong in the conversation with UND hockey...Nebraska Omaha would be on my list. I get that people are scouring the coaching ranks for talent, but a lot of names that have popped up are with programs that should not be uttered in the same sentence as Fighting Sioux.

Nightingale has done a very good job with that age group. When he was at the program elite guys lit it up....

the interesting part of the hiring committee was the 06-10 chippaz. Let me tell you what they had to say LOL : )

found the letter...I think despite criticisms of performance, that letter solidifies what we all knew of Brad Berry. A genuinely good person and a man who did his absolute best for the program as he saw it. #Fighting Sioux Family

knowing the people involved with the Englestad foundation, if they are doing something to coincide with the coaching decision, it was in-flight for a very long time, will be highly strategic, and will keep control over the capital to ensure it is operating as they intend.

yep- and the fact that its all in Michigan from a family perspective. Middle brother already at the program. Little brother already on the radar of the program.

from an entertainment perspective, I enjoy a 7-6 run and gun, skilled loss more than a 1-0 pack it in and trap win
