I did troll on the SCSU forum and did find that it sounds like Andrew Prochno is going to be out but he's the only one I could find.

My St. Cloud State co-worker came up to me today at lunch and stated that UND will likely sweep them because they have two key defensemen out this weekend. Naturally, when I asked who, he refused to tell me. This is the same guy who was sandbagging a few weeks ago and told me that some of their key players had been suspended by Motzko and that he (my co-worker) was throwing in the towel on the season. On blind faith I posted what he said here and true to smart UND fans' fashion, some of you checked and could not find where there were any players out for suspension.

I like your comment about it having been crunch time for the past several weeks since their poor start. If anything, this stretch could-and should-make them battle-tested come playoff time.

A little off topic, but this Gopher talk reminded me of attending last season's Sioux/Gopher series...I Had the pleasure of attending my first ever UND series at Mariucci. During the 5-1 beating we took on Friday, my girlfriend (a Gopher fan) chewed out an a-hole Gopher fan for turning around and screaming in my face after each Gopher goal...even the surrounding Gopher fans loved the tongue lashing that guy got from her and applauded!

Karma does exist sometimes, huh?!?!

At Magness last night, a DU fan sitting a few rows away, was yelling at the Tigers, "your mother's a ...(word starts with w)!" CC scores the game winning goal right after he started yelling that. It was great!

Great game, loved to see CC playing good hockey plus catching a few breaks that they weren't getting most of the season.

3-1, CC beats DU and reclaims the gold pan.

I see Michigan crapped the bed last night against Penn State. That's gotta help UND too, I'd imagine.

So I collect team pucks for every college rink I visit for a game. I've been to Magness many many times over the years for CC or North Dakota games and, because of my strong dis-like for Pio nation, just have not been able to bring myself to drop money on a DU puck. I finally broke and got one last night after more then ten years of holding out.

I like them! Love the crest.

CC did us a favor by beating Denver up at Magness and creating some distance between us and DU. I went to the game and CC is really starting to play good hockey. Hopefully they can get their first sweep tonight at World Arena.

I finally figured out which channel the game is on Dish Network: 445

I know, me too dude. I was cryin' in my beer.

I may have mis-spoke when I said Altitude as it says "Sports Alternate" on Dish Network channels 450-453.

I'm at work so I can't double check but I found it on channel 452 I think. I have Dish Network.

For UND (and UMD fans for that matter) fans who live in the Rocky Mountain region, Friday's game will be televised on Altitude. I was in Duluth a few weeks back for the series against CC. My observation was this: Duluth was the more talented team, however they had some serious defensive zone lapses on Saturday night. Lowly CC carried the play for large stretches of the 3rd period as Duluth got awfully sloppy in their own zone.

Off topic here but figured I'd get a response....I'm having trouble figuring out what time and nbc channel the women's gold medal game is on tomorrow. Can someone help me out?

What a great win that was for CC! 8-4 if I recall. Unfortunately we scored most of our goals that game and had too little left for Michigan the next night!

Any chance that tonight's UND goals will be posted so those of us in the non-viewing region of the country can see them?

Fun to see a CC win a game! It was their first Saturday night win of the season! Congrats to Josh Thorimbert on the shutout, the guy has logged a ton of minutes this season and gotten some bad breaks so I'm very happy for him and the team.

Rylan was a year ahead of Jaden. You're probably right that Jaden followed his older brother.
