Since Burger King sponsors the introductions and Hennen usually screws this saying up anyway, I was thinking that maybe someone could talk to Hennen and have him "accidently" say after the introductions "In the land of Burgers, Fournier is King."

Just a little more free advice. Stay away from the Red Puker.

Your best place is right in front of the REA before the game starts. Many tickets can be purchased for face value or less. And the price usually goes down with the temp and of course closer to faceoff. If you want a sure thing check the message board at the REA web site. REA ticket exchange

You're not a Mullet Club for Men member are you?

Maybe he was referring to his brother. Ryan let the puck get by him while on the point during a pp twice during the first period. Then to make matters worse let the Sioux player skate around him while he stood and watched. First time I think Parise got a breakaway chance the second Briggs got to the puck before the Sioux player. Good to see Prpich made Vanek a non-factor in the game and hope he can do it again tonight.

Last nights pre-introduction video was by far the best. Seems like they finally turned the volume up loud enough to hear it and they took Digglers advice and added the fights. Well at least the Prpich fight. Really seemed to get a good reaction out of the crowd. Diggler you should charge the REA a consulting fee for improving their video.

You're not a rich snob, but why just one, couldn't get a date or couldn't you afford to bring her at those outrages prices? Seriously it would have been nice to see the Gophers choke. One other option for people that don't want to shell out the $27.50 for the Bison game is to get season tickets. Last time I checked they were still available. Remember three years ago when I was picking my seats at the Ralph, Bollinger was practically begging me to get season football tickets. If you get season tickets it's almost like to Bison game is free. $80 for season tickets, six home games works out to about $13.33 per game or If you average the $80 over just the other five games it works out to $16 per game. That's $.50 less then buying individual game Reserved seating tickets.

The too many men penalty was taken during the Duluth game. Geneway served the penalty. DB was probably referring to the playing without a helmet penalty taken by Green.

Too bad the headline this week will be "Black Bears shutout Gophers". I guess Howard is a little better then the Gophers selfproclaimed best four lines in college hockey top to bottom.

The new intro can definitely use some work. On another note, what is with the profile pictures of the players when announcing scoring? They remind me of mugshots. I like last years video footage of each player, much better.

thanks. Don't know how I missed that last night. Did figure he would be out for the first game against BC though. I would guess Blais won't play him on Saturday against Concordia. Blais doesn't like dumb penalties and IMO it was dumb. Sure there is a history between the two but didn't need to drop the gloves. He wasn't defending a teammate like Bochenski did earlier in the period, he just let Peluso get under his skin. Some say he was sending a message to Duluth but skating away and maybe scoring would have been a better message.

If you went to 'meet the Sioux night' it was the same before the mens team took the ice.

Snyder Snyder dies of injuries. My condolences to the Snyder family.

Not dogs at all. You're thinking of BU, we will be playing BC (Eagles).

Slow ice has been a complaint from day one at the Ralph! I heard rumor the refrigeration system is screwed up and there was talk it might need to be replaced.

'schmidtdoggydog' is right. All three goalies will dress for the Concordia game with each playing a period. Three goalies can dress for the game and as a matter of fact at home the Sioux sometimes dress three and in a few games we had to use all three. As for the BC series, Brandt will most likely get the nod on Friday. As for Saturday it depends on Jake's performance Friday.

The only people that got to bid on the jerseys were suite holders or people that the suite holders gave their pass to. Maybe they were trying to make it up to all the suite holders for missing most of the games because the students wouldn't sit down in the lower bowl. You would think that they would want to try and make the most money possible. I heard most of the jerseys went for the minimum bid of $100. Only a few like Parise's, Bochenski's and Schneider's went for more. Parise's went for the most: around $350. They should have been auctioned on the internet like last time. It's kinda funny. He told me he only placed the minimum bid on the jersey because he figured no one else would bid on it.

I just looked it up in the NCAA rule book. And the answer is...... there is no answer. Or at least I can't find it. The rule book clearly states: SECTION 5. Disqualification Penalties A.R. 2: A player receives a disqualification penalty in an exhibition game. Does the player have to serve this penalty? RULING: Yes. Disqualification penalties must be served regardless of the type of game in which it occurs. No mention of the opposite scenario, about if the DQ occurs in a regular season game if you can serve the penalty during an exhibition game. It looks like the NCAA might have to make a ruling. If they do I would guess Prpich will play against Concordia and sit out Friday against BC. I hope I

Serious question. How is this even possible to have a sixth year senior playing? How does he get by the NCAA 10 semester/15 quarter eligibility rule?

Congrats to the Sioux for a good win. Any one else notice the interesting set up for the powerplay. Lundbohm and Parise on the point and Bochenski, Schneider and Murray(I think?) down low. Two forwards on the point and a D-man down low. No wonder the Dawgs got a shorthander. I know Blais likes to try different things, that usually work out well, but I would feel much better if he had at least one D-man back on the blue line.

Good to see they were gone tonight! We'll have to wait and see about next year.

Went to meet the Sioux Night and was very impressed with most of what I saw. PMC very good scouting report. It was actually a 2-on-0 rush as they left the defensemen standing at the blueline. Both Freshman goalies looked good although they weren't tested much.
