RT was never quoted saying that (statement does not have direct quotes). It looks to me the Heraldo jumped the gun on a bad lead and doesn't have the decency to retract the original story. I'm sorry but I am going to give RT the benefit of the doubt and believe him over some staff reporter and an anonymous lead. The Heraldo would rather make the University look bad with unsubstantiated rumors and speculation than apologize for inaccuracies in reporting. Tabloid journalism at its finest. Now even if/when the university opens the search up nationally and if Hak gets the job it will look like a coverup. We should all thank the Heraldo for putting a cloud over our hockey program.

Will this game live up to the hype? I am guessing it will be the lowest scoring longest game in NCAA history. Both teams have goalies that can come up big and each team has had some trouble scoring. Both play a defensive style which tends to lead to few scoring chances. I really don't care who wins this game. If Denver wins they are at least in the WCHA, but then again they did knock off the Sioux. If Maine wins it would make up for the hose job of 2002, but then again they are from HE.

you are mistaken I have been a season ticket holder since graduating in 96 and have never been forced to join the FSC, well until now. I wasn't happy when I first read the letter, but I am looking at it from a different perspective now. I liken it to a price increase for the season tickets. Instead of the tickets costing $690 a pair it will now cost $800 but at least since they are calling the $110 increase a donation to the FSC it is a tax deduction.
