I agree, for some reason officials at the college level do not like to award a penalty shot. I'm not saying they happen all the time, but they seldom award one, even though there are many instances throughout a season where a team should probably have had one.

When I heard about this, it made me sick to my stomach. I'm so sick of this government giving a free pass to all these illegals in this country. These Mexicans must not understand everything the U.S. does for them as a country.

Hallstrom has no credibility as a journalist. He is always taking pot shots at UND at every chance he gets. Disagreeing with UND's decision is one thing, but taking jabs at them on the air is a whole different issue.

I'm thinking that maybe Blais has been handling the goalie situation "in-house" but maybe in his way of psychologically motivating kids, he decided to put the nails to Brandt and even embarass him. This was a touch pill to swallow, but maybe its just a different tactic Blais is using to try and motivate his goaltenders to perform better. I see a little Herb Brooks style coming out in Blais.

I know RT said that, but I guess I really don't believe everything they tell us. Guess I'm the one to blame because I have portrayed this as "everyone against the students" conspiracy. It's all my fault, I talked to my uncle about this and he talked about attending games at the Winter Sports Complex and says that students today are in no way different than how they acted in their day. Not saying this is acceptable behavior by any means, but this argument dates back many many years and will continue forever.

I couldn't agree more with this. I'm not a student, haven't been one in a very long time, but as much as RT and others make it sound, this is all pointed at the students. The students do cause a majority of the problems of course, but they are not the only ones to blame. Both sides really need to make some concessions and come up with a compromise that "most" of the people involved will agree to.
