Don't get so worked up. I never said anything about Moreland not having hockey skills. You don't get a crack at the Sioux unless you have the skills. I was just wondering how things transpire to get to the point of any walk-on making the team. The only walk-ons I knew about were Moreland, Sando, Lindenberg and Bye. So I just asked. Seems like an honest question. Seems like you are the one with a complex by assuming the comments started in Grafton or Park River. I wouldn't know anything about comments being made up in Grafton or anywhere else for that matter. If you don't understand the process then don't respond please. I was actually hoping someone knew how or why kids are kept or cut.

I heard that Moreland made the team - any truth to that?? I also heard he was unable to participate in dry land training, captian scrimmages or anything else because of an injury for the last month- any truth to that? If all of that is true, how did he make the team - political connections? Name alone? (which would also be political). Coaches saw something?? A hunch?? How can they keep a kid that they haven't been able to see for 4 weeks? Also heard he was about the least ready for DI hockey of all walk-ons. Do the Sioux have that much talent that they can afford to wait on him now? Jesse Lindenberg - what was his final status? A lot of talent there and some smarts to go with it. Drew Sando - may have the most pure talent of all walk-ons. Heard he didn't make it. What is up??? HMMMM! Looks like the kid from Grand Forks made it and the two from Grafton didn't.
