Does this whole "INCH hates the Sioux" thing stem from them giving Kessel the ROY award, because the WCHA did the same thing awarding the ROY to Kessel. So now are you gonna tell me that the WCHA has something against UND? Oh wait, I almost forgot, you people say that every year the WCHA awards are given out.
Sorry to deflate your argument, but this goes back a lot farther than Kessel and the ROY award.

Sorry, DaveK, but some of these statements are laughable. Favre's still one of the best QBs in the league? I can think of 10 QBs in the league at this point that I would take on my team over the Brett Favre of today. And you're kidding yourself if you think his supporting cast made him look bad by helping him toss 29 interceptions last year or the duck in the NFC playoff game a few years ago against the Eagles. People love to blame that game on the 4th down and 99 (27 or 30something I believe it was actually) to go for the first down that was converted, but the Packers were driving in OT when Favre threw an absolute quacker that was picked off. How about the game where he throws a TD although he's about five yards across the line of scrimmage, a play that resulted in the Pack settling for 3 instead of 7 when Favre needed about two steps to rush for the TD himself. I can still hear John Madden "Look at that Brett Favre...wow is he having fun!". Um, no, John, he just KILLED his team with that stupid mistake.
Trust me on this...this is Brett's last year and he will never break Marino's TD record.
No kidding, I actually started laughing out loud.
Favre should have called it quits in the offseason. I hope he has other reasons to play than to just hold on to try and break some records.

While I've often been critical of the guy I must say one area that I'm quite pleased with is the increased emphasis he's put on marketing the football team. The past few years we've had tremendous teams, but you hardly ever heard radio ads promoting the games or saw a single billboard anywhere. (Contrast that with the bison billboards we're subjected to just about everywhere in this state) Under RT, we surrendered the sports marketing duties to the REA and football and other sports got the shaft big time as tons of promotional dollars went into advertising for hockey (no objections) and REA events such as the World Juniors, Agassi-Sampras tennis match, etc. (strong objection).
I beg to differ with you. There is definitely a presence of football marketing this year, but there was in year's past as well.

Today I heard that the defense was going to bring up the arguement that the farm chemicals that AR was exposed to as a young child/man, may have caused brain damage. They will use this to argue against him getting the death penalty.

From what I've heard, parking is definitely going to be a major problem at the games this year. I'm excited for the game on saturday and also excited to see what kind of crowd turns out for the game.

I never said anything about how Army would feel about playing Nodak, that is a whole separate issue.

I still think it is too early to really give a stamp or approval to this guy.
I really don't see how bringing in Army to play a hockey game would be that big of a deal, unless you would want to give more props to Buning for doing so. I'd rather see his efforts go towards continuing to bring in powers like Maine, BC, etc.
