Bubba? Tibesar? Somebody else?
Out of those I'd say Bubba before Tibesar. Just can't see Tibesar leaving his NFL job for FCS.

Give it time. Nothing is ever all that good when a place first opens. Workers are still learning how to do things, there is usually larger crowds so a rush on food goods, etc.
Give it a month, try it again and reevaluate.

Makes you wonder if he would be willing to leave Concordia-St. Paul if he's been there that long and has been so successful. He might feel comfortable and not want to move his family.
-
Would it be possible to move the pissing match about UND/NDSU to a different thread to keep this one actually on topic?

I wonder if we'll ever hear the full story on this. I mean it can't just be the hit & run that made him resign can it? One vehicle damaged, no one injured doesn't really sound like a firing/resigning offense to me.

Talk about a kick in the pants for UND sports this year. Really hope this isn't as bad as the rumors have it and we can keep Hardee.

Who had the 2nd and 3rd goals?
-
So Stecher gets walked in the groin and gets 2 minute penalty?

Tonight's game was fantastic until the refs decided dictate the outcome in the third. The two body check penalties called on UND were brutal. The refs had been swallowing their whistles on physical play through 2 1/2 periods and then feel the need to call those? Ruined the game imo.

Thanks for the update.

Any update on tonight's game?

I think Saturday's lower attendance was a combination of things such as the deer opener, the weather (high winds that had a pretty nasty bite to it), and the loss on Friday night. Had they won on Friday, I think more of those fans would have been willing to come back on Saturday.

UND takes first set 25-23. Team looks off. Definitely a different team without Robinson I think.

Those lines sound like a message being sent to certain players that they need to step up. Interesting seeing Caggiula and Grimaldi split up.

Still good effort by UND. To think they are missing one of their top players right now and still playing at such a high level. Get Robinson back for the tournament and this team could take it.

Brekke was a solid post player and scored at a very high percentage when he actually got the ball in position down low. Most of our offense didn't run through him though so his touches were kept low, that's why it didn't seem like he was an above average scorer. I think his absence will be missed until someone can consistently step up.

She's an outstanding player and scary to think that she's only a freshman!

I think two of the major differences between this team and last years team are:
1. Pioske... she is the other do everything person we needed to match with Robinson. Just gives us much more flexibility in both our attack and defense.
2. Resilience. Last year's team just didn't seem to pull out the wins in tough matches. They'd give up a few points and then break down mentally. This year's team has that resilience to fight back and turn a set around. They also have learned how to just turn it on and dominate an opponent (like what we saw with NDSU).

Is Robinson injured or just getting the night off? I started watching at the end of the second set and haven't seen her on the court.

This is what happens when you have an anemic offense and take bad penalties

This hurts to watch. This coaching staff needs to go. coaches are being out-coached and team is being out-played
The next coach of UND football is....
