Anyone surprised by the lack of Ziebarth this year? Hoosman and Smith have both been excellent but just figured coming in we would see Ziebarth more than we have.

I think the thing throwing me off with the white jerseys is the black triangle with the adidas logo on the collar. I would be interested to see a black collar with a green triangle. I don’t know, maybe that would be worse. I see the green jerseys have it too but it doesn’t bug me as much on those.

I agree. I think a .500 season would be successful. It’s an uphill climb from where we were at but being less than .500 should not be acceptable year after year.

I doubt hockey impacts this game. The ACU game is a different story.

And JMU. Losing Bruns sucks offensively but he was a liability on the other end.

Complete what-if question: there’s been a lot of talk about missing Caleb Nelson, Sam Robertson and Quinn Urwiler this year, do we think we would be sitting with a different record if those guys were still here? I’m not so sure, maybe. I think we would have maybe won more convincingly against YSU and UNI and we may not have as many concerns but I think our current record may still be the same. Just a random thought.

YES how many times do I have to say that about Tommy lol. I mean in the end it’s the players/coaching staff decision whether to use the Covid year but yes they both can play 2 more years.

So he redshirted the year before Covid, started the spring season as a redshirt freshman, started last year as a sophomore and now is a junior but he still has the Covid year on top of next year. 2019 - Redshirt 2020 - RS Freshman COVID/Spring Season (Free year) 2021 - RS Sophomore 2022 - RS Junior 2023 - RS Senior 2024 - Extra Year

Imagine if he stays 2 more years, which he can? 5 year starters completely changing the record books.
