Don’t love minutes with both Tyree and BJ on the bench.
-
Nothing infuriates me more than Omot settling for a step back 3. Guy can score or get fouled every time on the drive and he’s far from a shooter.
-
Sit the bench. Mathews was having a nice half.
-
Nominate me for the preposterous statement tournament but no one in the summit would beat us playing like that first half.
-
That block by Omot was so sick.
-
This would lead me to believe that Pawlak isn’t going anywhere.

UND is +18.5 with a total of 143.5.
-
These are 2025 kids but I’m keeping my eyes on Micah and Marley Curtis out of St. Louis Park.
-
I’m sure there’s been shorter commitments but this one has to be up there. Just don’t get why they commit other than for leverage?
-
We know this isn’t going to happen right now but I do agree we should elevate his role somehow, some way. He’s made it clear he’s an excellent coach, let’s reward him.

UND (KenPom 260) heads to Lincoln after their most complete game of the season against Utah Tech. The return of Tyree Ihenacho to the lineup did wonders to really both sides of the ball. Now it’s on to Nebraska (KP 43). Now this isn’t quite the same Nebraska as when we played in 2020. Their two losses are to a really good Creighton team and then a road loss to an improving Minnesota. Looks like they have pretty even scoring distribution between Juwan Gary (14.5), Brice Williams (13.6), Keisei Tominaga (13.4) and Rienk Mast (13.0). I’d say Mast and Tominaga are the two that scare me the most. Hopefully Tyree playing will limit Tominaga but not sure we can really limit Mast. KenPom predicts an 80-62 Nebraska win and Bart Torvik has 82-62. Can catch the game on BTN+, which I believe is $10 for the month for one school.

I’m not saying you’re wrong I’m just saying that’s what I’m hoping.
-
I hope your source or you were drunk and Polasek just sounded like Pawlak.
-
Rewatching the game, missed the first half yesterday, and I’m just so impressed with how seamlessly Tyree came in and just made this offense look so much better. The ball doesn’t just get stuck with him. He’s either swinging it right away or making a nice move to the basket.
-
Holy poop. Idk if this is because of Tyree as I’ve only caught the second half but my goodness. Ball movement is crisp. I’m loving this.
-
I also think we are in a world where you can’t count on anything next year. We could hold him and we could see BJ and Trey leave. Now if that happens I think this is basically a new team, coaches and all but just saying nothing is guaranteed in this day and age.
-
I don’t disagree but also at this point I think it’s kind of up to Tyree. Who says he wants to continue going to school for 2 more years?
-
I don’t watch many women’s games but does hurst shoot every time she touches the ball? My goodness.
-
See Tyree tomorrow.
-
QB in question: 3 star out of high school. Offers from the MAC mostly.
-
Yeah I’d be very surprised if Tyree plays. I really think that for schools like UND that are mid-major and FCS the best case scenario is they end up ruling that 2x transfers still have to sit out. If they don’t, players really won’t think twice about transferring anymore.

Another road trip west. This time UND (KenPom 281) makes a return trip to Utah Tech (KP 234). Both teams are in a bit of a slide right now, although UND just handled Waldorf as they should. Utah Tech’s last 4 games include 2 wins vs top 170 KP teams and then 2 losses against bottom 270 KP teams. Looks like Utah Tech is a very balanced team with 6 guys averaging between 12.8ppg and 9.8ppg. Both KenPom and BartTorvik predicts this to be a 73-67 victory for Utah Tech. Game can be found on ESPN+.

Don’t think we will be seeing Tyree anymore.

Checking it out for the first time this weekend.
